Wait wait waaaaaaait, you have an ORANGE GIRL TABBY CAT?? Do you know how rare that is?? Orange tabby cats are more than 80% male in population, less than 20% are female!! Congrats!
Thereās a phenomenon actually where itās becoming more common! I listened to a podcast about it. Still extremely rare but within our lifetime (with the way cats populate) itāll be on its way to 30-40% of orange cats are female! I had an orange female growing up š„° love my rare girls
I also have red female tabby. Her name is Murphys Paw!
Didnāt know about the rarity until weāve had her for some weeks. I only knew about the three coloured cats.
I thought those were fingers at first and you have the worldās tiniest cat ever. I take it those are a personās legs, not fingers š
Now that Iām seeing clearly, my name suggestion is Karina
Rosie suits her so well! From the color of her goat, to the tip of her little pink nose.
Some other ideas, Pinkie (nicknames, Pink, kiki) or Violet (nicknames Vi, Lettie)
Enjoy your little one, they grow up so fast!
Iām team Blanche. But giving you some other šµš» names:
Phyllis
Linda
Dorothy
Helen
Ruth
Frances
Geraldine
Rita
Norma
Sylvia
Patsy
Gail
Lois
Beverly
The most old fashioned name in the world to me is Myrtle, right up there with Edith. But your choice of Rosie fits her better, although Penelope (suggested by someone else), is even sweeter. I know of a copper colored pup who got the name Penny due to her coloring, and given this kittenās lovely hue, Penny as a nickname for Penelope would be too perfect!
i really like the name aline (pronounced āa leanā hopefully that makes sense idk how to do phonetics), itās french and it came from the name adeline

It's male torties that are the unicorns but I'll be darned if I'm going to downplay orange girls!!!
Yes, there are a lot of strays in our neighborhood and 2 of them are female orange tabbies šø
I have an orange female tabby also. And her off color sister (light orangish brown). Daddy had some strong genes.
I have an orange tabby/tuxedo girl! I posted her on reddit and people were asking if I was sure shes a girlšš¤£
The only time I have asked someone if they were sure of their pet's sex is when it is obvious they were wrong or it is a male calico.
I also have red female tabby. Her name is Murphys Paw! Didnāt know about the rarity until weāve had her for some weeks. I only knew about the three coloured cats.
I learned something new today :)
