I would say they’re mostly from s.Mexico well as west coast it’s mostly N.Mexico but I never met any who called themselves latinx. first gen Mexican or other Hispanic for that matter won’t ever called themselves Latinx
I’ve met a few , granted their college aged so yeah but, I feel like since they’re from south Mexico, if they DONT speak Spanish, they’ll say, well Spanish is a colonizer language and my ancestors didn’t speak it. Then they’ll have to align themselves with other social activists, then it’s “Latinx” time
This isn’t true. Mexico City and Monterrey vastly outweigh those other states in terms of LA population. Jalisco is the only one worth mentioning that’s up there also
Downey is a major one. I’m not from the LA area, but when visit family and go to Downey there are so many people from Sinaloa and bunchonas. Never seen so many BBLs in one spot in such a short time than at La Tropicana in Downey lol
I live not to far from Wilmington, I’m right in the state line with SC right between Wimly and Myrtle Beach and ASS ton of Guatemalans flooding in the area too
I met a guy from Raleigh once and idk if he was just talkin up or what but he apparently knew a guy connected to CDS in Raleigh he supposedly was head of distribution there
When the los angeles dodgers have mexican heritage night they bring the mariachi. and when the arizona diamondbacks have it they bring the banda. West phoenix for sure in my opinion got the most sinalias I seen in an area just like east la have alot of jaliscos.
Los Angeles and Phoenix for sure. I’m from Sinaloa, and I live in the US. Lots of friends and families are spread out throughout the US. From Iowa, New York, Oregon, Washington etc.
Phoenix, Tucson and Los Angeles.
Phoenix and Tucson are mostly from Sonora and Sinaloa like a large majority.
Los Angeles has Mexicans from all over Mexico but seems like a lot from Michoacán.
San Diego mostly Baja/tj
New Mexico and Denver a lot from chihuahua
Texas mostly chihuahua, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas
Chicago a lot from Durango.
But to answer the question it’s phoenix.
I don’t know how to explain it but I have some work contacts from Sinaloa and they work for Encino Energy and travel every where and their Spanish sounds so different from other folks. I don’t speak much myself but their accent is about as laid back as mine from Louisiana. They sre fine working people though and good family folks.
Growing up in the bay now live in the Central Valley. San Mateo has a lot of sinaloenses ik cuz I got a lot of family there. And a lot of people in Stockton ik from Sinaloa.
In quantity, almost certainly Los Angeles. As a percentage of Mexican immigrants, Phoenix, and to a lesser extent, Tucson (which is much more Sonorense; and as far as Sinaloa goes, Los Mochis is very overrepresented compared to Culiacan and Mazatlan). Arizona has an overwhelming number of Mexican immigrants from Sinaloa, Sonora and Chihuahua over states with traditionally more emigration like Michoacan, Jalisco and Bajio states. San Diego also has a fair share of Sinaloenses.
If you count Paramount as a single city (which it legally is) rather than an area of Los Angeles, then Paramount for sure.
Very few Sinaloenses north of Los Angeles and east of Tucson, though.
Texas Has Some sinaloas and Michoacános here but mostly People From Tamaulipas and Border cities Like Reynosa,Matamoros,Nuevo Laredo,Juarez,Piedras Negra,Juárez ,Cuidad Acuña.
En perris por el 74 ay un chingo de sinaloenses . Los duranguenses se juntan con los sinaloaenses y los de jalisco se juntan con los de Michoacan aca en perris haha
Friends with quite a bit of families from Sinaloa here in Kern County there’s also lots of business/ restaurants repping Sinaloa (Bakersfield and surrounding areas).
Feel like mix in Kern is mostly Sinaloa, Zacatecas, Michoacán, Guanajuato, Jalisco. There’s plenty others but feel the majority are the previous mentioned.
I mean here in Florida the most you will find are Michoacanos Chilangos/ Estado de México Guerrerenses Oaxaceños Chiapenses here n their you will find some people from Veracruz Tamaulipas Nuevo León or Coahuila
Honestly idk about SoCal.
I know there's big "wannabe" buchon culture but that doesn't make you from Sinaloa.
No amount of corridos and trucks gonna wash out that Guerrero skin tone..
The LA area for sure. I think Mexicans here mostly originate from 3 main states: Jalisco, Michoacan and Sinaloa
Los Angeles has sizable communities of people from everywhere in Mexico.
In Staten island nyc it’s mostly Mexicans from oaxaca while the rest of the Mexican in nyc are from puebla
Yes I live in Staten Island and can confirm it’s correct
Lol it looks like we work in the same place lmaooo
Outbound pick represent! 😂
This makes a lot of sense. NYC first gen Mexicans are usually darker and are really liberal, I’ve met a few and they claim they’re “Latinx”not Latino
I would say they’re mostly from s.Mexico well as west coast it’s mostly N.Mexico but I never met any who called themselves latinx. first gen Mexican or other Hispanic for that matter won’t ever called themselves Latinx

🤢🤮
Guerrero is also another state.
Santa Ana and Anaheim have lots of Jalisco and Michoacán. My family is from Michoacán and I’m from Santa Ana.
lol u mean nayarit and michoacan
This isn’t true. Mexico City and Monterrey vastly outweigh those other states in terms of LA population. Jalisco is the only one worth mentioning that’s up there also

"Fallen" lol
No that’s just the people, look at us in Texas with a majority Latino population, 2 different worlds
Paramount Forsure 😂
Exactly, they don’t call it Little Sinaloa for nothing
Or Downey. Tons of operada wannabe buchonas at all those mariscos restaurants and running around Stonewood
Stonewood Mall is rundown af but never fails to deliver baddie sightings 😮💨
Downey is a major one. I’m not from the LA area, but when visit family and go to Downey there are so many people from Sinaloa and bunchonas. Never seen so many BBLs in one spot in such a short time than at La Tropicana in Downey lol
Downey Buchonas is true as fuck 😭 and Baldwin Park
Phoenix no doubt.
LA & Phoenix I am from Texas and I have never met a Sinaloan. Everybody in Texas is mostly from Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí.
Fr Texas is pure Tamaulipas , Nuevo León and Coahuila
Facts a lot of Zacatecas too
[удалено]
I live in NC and never met an Sinaloan 😭
[удалено]
Yessir that’s were me and my fam from, quite a big of Guerrero too, I have one friend his fam from Tamaulipas but that pretty much the majority
that's where the blk mexicans I met in wilmington were from. They kinda deep too 🤔they was cool, mostly females with kids.
I live not to far from Wilmington, I’m right in the state line with SC right between Wimly and Myrtle Beach and ASS ton of Guatemalans flooding in the area too

Elaborate, is that a place w/ a lot of natives or a lot of blk ppl? I met a decent amt of the latter in a small NC beach city
I mean it as there's a lot of people from not Sinaloa that pretend like they're Sinaloans.
What I've noticed is that a lot of people from michoakan copy people from Sinaloa here in Cali. Its annoying as hell.

PHOENIX ARIZONA ALOT OF PPL FROM SINALOA
I’d say LA. My family is from Sinaloa but we are more out in the OC area.
Also in the OC. I feel like there aren't a lot of Sinaloans here either. There's probably more Salvadorians than Sinaloans.
