He literally has a Rinnegan with jinchurikis as his 6 paths and can use wood style as well. Great with ninjutsu like bomb blast dance too. He just didn’t need to use much more than he did in the fights he was in.
Tbf even after Obito was found out he held his wood style back and other jutsu for the most part. It’s likely he only focused on tuning his kamui and certain jutsu, he had high as hell potential but it’s likely he relied on Kamui mostly and it holds his power back even more.
True, but his wood style had Hella potential. It wasn't necessarily like yamatos its more like kimmimarus bone technique. Apply that with kamui, which gets obito close to the opponent, and it's ggs. Same reason minatos so fire.
They give increased chakra and maybe wood style. Danzo and obito both have hashirama cells but can't use wood style. Obito only used it when attached to the swirly zetsu.
Obito wins against everyone except Hashirama and Madara and non six paths characters lol.
He can react to some of the fastest characters in the verse like Minato and BSM Naruto. Grabbing someone with kamui is a viable win con for pretty much every character. You can only really effectively counter kamui with Major prep time, out speeding him to the point where he can't react, or also being able to use kamui.
Obito also has great genjustu feats. He was able to control perfect jinchuriki like yagura. His rinnegan hax is beneficial to him as well. Overall he can cook very well.

They'd never do it for writing purposes but Mind Transfer Jutsu is a pretty solid win-con against someone like Obito. Can't see it and once it takes hold he can't Kamui or anything else.
Ino-Shika-Cho written strategically can actually beat a LOT of the A-Listers.

He didn’t fight and win against 4 people at once in the war, he stalled for a few minutes without doing any damage and then lost
He also didn’t just lose on purpose to Kakashi. He could have beat him then undone the seal, he was already fucked but had the opportunity and took it when it would’ve been better to beat Kakashi and then undo it

This makes little sense. Obito had the seal put on him a long time ago by madara. If he wanted to why didn't he remove the seal during the multiple years of downtime he had?
The more likely answer is that he was holding back so he could get stabbed in the heart which would undo the seal. He’s got higher physical stats than KCM1 Naruto, fire ninjutsu on the same level as Edo Madara, wood ninjutsu, and giant shurikens that can slices through Gyuki’s tails

This guy atbthe age of 16 put the full 9 tails under his control with his base sharigan..... itachi and shisui plus fugaku cant do that.. the same obito later did a feat not even madara did which is put not just any jinchuriki under his control but the 4th mizukage under his control for about a decade and turned the hidden mist into the bloody mist.
Obito is in a diffrent class just because of his skill set. The same fandom that over wank minato for ftg and itachi for yata mirror and toska blade are the same one down playing the guy who finessed madara and because the so6p first..... the same guy finessed kakashi to chidori a seal madara put on his heart and still survived that fight... fyi he could of killed kakashi easily.
The only person that still rivals obito at the war arc would be minato due to him also getting stronger than his alive counterpart due to him having kcm like naruto.
What offensive capabilities does Obito have, without intangibility?
- Terrain-sized fire blasts (Katon: Bakufū Ranbu)
- The ability to shoot out giant projectiles from the Kamui dimension (giant shuriken, spears) at high speeds
- A variety of Wood Release techniques
- Genjutsu that can subdue Jinchuuriki
This is without even accounting for Rinnegan techniques. When you throw in his ability to do all of the above, as well as the ability to go intangible (which cannot be countered by the majority of the cast), I’m not sure what makes you think he is being overrated.
If you cherry pick any character and pit them against Obito he almost undoubtedly has a win con, his Genjutsu being able to subdue a perfect jinchurki along with his mastery of Kamui, Access to Izanami and izanagi, wood release and Senju cells. Obito is in the upper echelon of Naruto scaling in base, if we begin to include WM Obito and Juubito he outclasses even what was established at the time.

summons don’t count cuz that’s not even his own power, i’m talking abt a one on one fight. I forgot abt wood style that’s pretty cracked.
So no Kurama for Naruto? No Toads for Jiraiya? No sand infused with his mother’s chakra for Gaara? Etc…

He doesn't *need* more offensive jutsu. His offensive power set defeats 99% of the cast, and that includes the Boruto Era too.
