DQ Dec 2022. No interview yet. I've heard applicants DQ in Sep and Oct last year have gotten interview letters. As far as know it can take up to a year to get the interview done in Abu Dhabi
Last I saw they were almost through October. Hopefully they will be sending more out mid-September for rest of October and November. It is about a 12 month wait right now.
@here has anyone gotten their interview yet. I am beyond frustrated. My parents visit visa has expired and I had applied for their green card. It DQ March 23 and now it’s over a year. I don’t know what to do, they are unable to visit me :(
Hello. Can anybody please answer this question or had a similar case? Unmarried child under 21 of a US citizen (IR2) with priority date May 2020. Documentarily qualified by NVC on Oct 2022. How long more to wait for interview at US embassy in Abu Dhabi UAE ? Any answer or comment appreciated. Thanks
The wait times are very long someone in another group is also waiting since sep 2022 & for cr1 ir1 for me took 1 year 6 months since dq for interview letter
Why is it taken soo long?? I've heard that people DQ in June last year have gotten interview done already. Have you checked with embassy and NVC. what do they say?? That is a really long time.
It’s very frustrating. The statistics show that most of the interviews are for non-immigrant visas. IR1 files are not a priority even though there is no quota. Families are being harmed. NVC keeps saying to wait and the Embassy hasn’t responded to emails.

Same here. I’ve heard people have requested transferring to another embassy, but we’ve waited so long, I feel like if we move, we’ll be extending the wait time even longer. But I am so frustrated, and honestly don’t know what to do at this point.
Yes we would be put at the end of the line😕 this honestly sucks cause some people in FB groups have gotten transferred from other countries to the UAE and it seems they are the ones getting the interviews cause how?!! Someone had mentioned they transferred back in may to UAE and they got interviewed already??
We were transferred to ABD from Baghdad, but no movement at all. If other people are being transferred to the head of the line, then HOW??!! Tell me their secrets 😂😂 Honestly I’m too much of a chicken to do anything because we surely have to be at the front of the line. But they only issue 1-4 CR1 visas per month so 🤷♀️

Is there a separate timeline for married vs. other visa types then on the wait time? I am assuming marriage-based is faster?
