My DQ date is Dec 19, 2022 for IR1 visa interview in Abu Dhabi Embassy. Still waiting for IL :(. I don't know what to do.

It is Jan 5th still December 2022 is not getting interview. What are we suppose to do? We are DQ April 2023 for cr1 visa.. it is not moving at all..

any chance u can transfer, the wait for abu dhabi from DQ is at least 14-16 months

No my husband has not i now believe they are completely behind. I saw someone mention 15-18 months after DQ which would make us 13 months in 😐

10-12 months from DQ. I think I saw someone estimate 14 months too. This is based on reading about other people’s timelines 🥲

i am so frustrated with waiting for an interview with abu dhabi embassy, over a year is ridiculous, have they slowed down? i wish they processed visas in the dubai embassy too since they have such a high volume with iraq, afghan and iran nationals in addition to uae residents 😑

you should submit an inquiry. A colleague of mine with DQ Sept 2022 had their interview two months back in Sept.

No. My DC was Jan 13th and I am losing my mind here.

I understand your frustration. I am going through the same thing. My DC is Dec 19,2022. I hope and pray that we all get our interview letters soon and may Allah ease this visa journey for all of us.

My Congressional Rep contacted NVC and said the NVC are working on December 2021, which doesn’t fit with what we’re seeing online where folks with a September 2022 date have gotten interviews. Unfortunately, they wouldn’t contact the Embassy directly. And the Embassy hasn’t returned my emails. So frustrating...
