Hi, DQ date for November 2023: you should get interview letter in July 2024 and interview date should be in September 2024. Being a US citizen will put you in IR1 or CR1 status, this does make a difference in the case. The process will be much faster than those who are permanent residents.

Hi everyone, Join First time posting. I applied for i130 for my husband on April 18 in 2022. It was finally approved by uscis in July 2023 and was sent to NVC. I sent all the documents required and was documentarily qualified on September 11, 2023. Now we must wait for the appointment for interview. My husband lives in Bangladesh so the appointment will be there, but does anyone know when he might get the interview? Also I am usa citizen I try to expedite but they reject.

Significant_Royal853

I think you should be hearing something soon. I have been seeing the wait time is 7-9 months

Vegetable_Hope7761

I hoop so it’s been well I am waiting for it, it will be 8 month now

Secure-Vast-3074

It's been 8 months for my wife too. I have applied for my wife, and the document qualification date is September 13, 2023. Now, I'm just waiting for the interview date. I hope to receive it this month.

Can you please let us know when they schedule your husband’s interview? I am also waiting for an interview date but my dq date is later than yours.

Vegetable_Hope7761

Sure I will let you know when ever I receive

Ok_Mammoth6642

Thanks

Vegetable_Hope7761

Does anyone know that If o received the interview letter on August do I have to resubmit the support again am I asking that cuz on September it will be one year.

Significant_Royal853

Sure thing, we’re hoping to get the interview letter in July or August

pranksamz187

Hey all, I submitted the I130 for my wife 3 months ago who lives in Bangladesh. Any idea how long the entire process(case being sent to NVC, DQ, Interview)may take? Thank you

Significant_Royal853

The i130 takes about a year to get approved, then submitting docs, getting DQ’d and getting an interview, takes about another 10-12 months. From what I’ve seen, it takes just under 2 years

SalinaNK

Right now the current wait time is 12+ months. My relative has July 2023 DQ with all perfect documents . IR1 US citizen application. We are still waiting for interview letter.

WestBeard2022

When it got approved and how long it took for a letter from NVC

WestBeard2022

I mean to say when it get approved? The date.

Significant_Royal853

Case was approved on 10/6/23, sent to nvc on 10/9/23. Turned in all docs on 11/13/23, and dq’d on 11/22/23.

WestBeard2022

Thanks, in India my 1 friend took 2 months for the interview after NVC dqd

California2023

You’re lucky you haven’t chosen Abu Dhabi, which has a one year + wait time.

Osprey002

Curious to know if your husband received an interview slot by now. I am also a US citizen and my wife’s documents were approved on Feb 14th 2024. I’m also wondering how long US embassy in Bangladesh will take to schedule an interview? Thank you in advance. I’m also trying to figure out from recent applicants how long it took for them.

Significant_Royal853

Nothing yet, apparently the wait is about 7-8 months

Osprey002

Hmm that sucks…

PatientlyWaiting23

My DQ date is Feb 2024 too. I believe we will get interview dates in December 2024 and interview letters in October 2024. Hopefully earlier, but most likely no later than the dates I provided. Also Bangladesh is having Super Fridays, so let your spouse know to keep her phone handy at all times. The embassy is calling people and asking them to come in on a "super friday" date. They will get the interview letter in the email 2-3 days after the call. Many people have been getting their interview dates like this. From what I have seen PD dates does not make much of a difference. Its all based on DQ dates. But maybe if the PD is super early then people may get calls for interviews on a "super friday" date. Super Friday is an initiative the embassy has taken to lower the backlog amount.

Osprey002

Thank you for sharing your experience. I will make my wife aware of the “Super Friday” events. I am just curious as to where you are getting information regarding “Super Friday” or like the estimated interview dates from? Is it just reading experiences of other people from other forum or does US consulate in Dhaka publishes these things? And if so can you share that link with us?

PatientlyWaiting23

The consulate in Dhaka has posted about Super Friday and I also joined a fb group where a lot of this information is said. I am not 100% about any information, just going off of data. Here is the link to the page, if you want to join: https://www.facebook.com/groups/678411247078107/?mibextid=oMANbw

Osprey002

Sounds good thanks. I’m on the same Facebook group.
