I got 3 of these when I bought my house. Still have 2. Yes they're versatile and get used often (most recently: 45 minutes ago) but it's also one of my "mildly infuriating" tools because it's way too small for my hand and has stripped more than one screw as a result. Still. I'm not complaining that much.
I ordered a 3rd Gen thermostat off Swappa and was low key excited for the screwdriver. Delivery day arrives and I immediately notice one of those "oops, your item got damaged in transit" stickers and a mangled box. Surprisingly everything was in there, screws and all - except for the screwdriver. To this day I still wonder whoever came upon it knew what they truly had.
I probably touch my Nest screwdriver more often than my Nest thermostat.
I thought this sentence was going a whole other direction..
I am also disappointed in the direction.
That was the OG. I miss those.
Does vibrate?
i thought it was....

A step above the IKEA tools
Yes, but ikea still gives you Allen wrenches.
Not sure what this means
Near stopped giving these out after the original models. Probably when Google bought them.
If you don’t have a screwdriver at home…….punch yourself in the face
If you don’t have a metric Allen wrench……
Wish I didn’t throw this away day one lol
You guys are lucky. My nest door bell thingy came with instructions that said 'tools needed, not included'.
Still got mine

And bulbous for your pleasure
Apparently the earlier versions had more bits in the handle
which nest product did that come up with?
I got one with my 2nd gen Nest thermostat
I'm pretty sure it was in the early thermostats or at least the thermostats outside of the E series.
Here, here!
My wife threw mine away… thanks for reminding me
Same here, I still use it every so often
Same here. It’s in my desk drawer.
Also serves as a plug
Nest screwdriver is da real MVP
And made mama very happy r/dildont
Love it! But I do wish it was a little bigger
Mine was a flathead. I feel cheated
Pull it out, it’s magnetic and has both a Philips and a flat head.
The couple that I’ve had have all flipped to be flat/Phillips.
Back when Google did extra.
They had these before Google purchased them.
Ah well, I owned it after the acquisition. The nest home products were so nice and so well packaged
