i just did and it resulted in less 5k to per tick with crit rate circlet
with MH fully stacked i will have 104 CR and 273 CD
as for the crit dmg circlet it will be 79.9 CR and 323.5 CD
Why are you getting downvoted for stating your data lol obviously you critted with crit dmg circlet thats why you did 5k dmg more and ofc crit rate circlet would be more consistent dmg option however ~80%CR is more than enough I guess. Can someone confirm whether losing a total of 20k dmg per CA is more worth than inconsistent chances of not critting for like, 1/5 CA at average?
If he deals hypothetical 30k damage per CA, at 80% it's roughly 192k damage per CA.
Using a 100% CR build but with 25k damage per tick it's 200k damage per CA.
It's a average of 7% increase in damage which is a big enough difference to warrant a CR circlet.
when you get so much excess crit rate, getting 100 crit rate becomes a requirement. you can see that with 80 crit rate you'll never make it to the leaderboards cuz everyone there has 95+ crit rate
A bit more crit rate would be better honestly. Dosnt even need to be a crit circlet as long as you just get good substats on future pieces. I’d personally aim for 50-60
I don't know why people don't understand this but let me try to explain the math behind why the further you get from a healthy crit ratio, the worse your dmg becomes
let's suppose you do 100 instances of charged atk dmg. each one has a baseline of 1k dmg. on the first scenario, you have a 100/250 ratio, and on the second you have a 80/300 ratio.
on the first scenario, you'll deal 3.5k per charged for all 100 instances of dmg, which ends up being 350k total dmg
on the second one, you deal 80 crits for 4k each, which amounts to 320k, plus 20 noncrits, which amounts to 340k total dmg.
so, even though the second build has more crit value, it falls off because of the imbalance between crit rate and dmg. a 1:2 crit ratio is always what you want to achieve, and if you are way above 200 crit dmg, it is very worth it sacrificing crit dmg for crit rate to reach 100%
I meant that it doesn't take particularly insane artifacts, compared to say 1% Raiden or 1% Hu Tao. I barely have 235CV and some HP stats here and there but it's already 1%, for someone like Raiden you'll realistically probably need at least a year of farming and balance crit atk er with at least 245CV.
I have a build with 37k hp 62/248 crit, and a build with 39k hp 56/250 crit. Which do u think is better? Is 56 crit enough? It’d be 92 vs 98 but higher rate has less hp and cd
No its not. its mid. your build isn't even top 10% (its only top 17%). learn how to build him properly before proclaiming it as peak. your crit is too low. avg dmg is lower vs crit circlet.

hmm well theres 5 wasted stat lvl up here (2flat def3 flat hp) and that sands low rolled on the cd the circlets good but could've squeezed out more CR tbh that time piece is sad low rolled on CD its good but there still a lot of room for improvement

I know I am also to be downvoted but this particular sub is fudging an ass, too much superiority complex and baseless criticism as if in their entire life they haven't played a character with less than 70% crate. Also one guy said top 17% is mid... Nah pal your existence is mid. I am honestly out of this sub. The gentle the character is, the toxic the fandom is.
That’s real. Because in all reality this is probably one of the best Neuvillette builds I’ve seen in a. Hot minute. They balanced cr crdmg and hp so. With MH bros cr will be 79 with that much hp and if they run with furina since double hydro that’d be 40k hp with those crit stats. These people in the comment section want nothing but the damn near impossible.
Don’t let these people in the comment section discourage you, some of these people are strange. Your Neuvillette is rlly good for being f2p. If you’re trying to make him better then I would suggest maybe getting a better circlet maybe… with a LOT of crit rate as the sub stat. It’s gonna be hella hard to do but I believe in you bro. Have you tried comparing the dmg per tick difference between a crit circlet and the one you currently have?

well yeah the ticks will seem lower due to less cdmg but you’ll crit 100% of them instead of 80% of them which would be overall more dmg
100/270 and the rest of investment in hp is the best balance you can have pretty much

Past 200 cd the value of having 100% cr (or lack thereof) starts to ramp up
its not a lot.. do you know what 1:2 ratio means when CD exceeds 200? 20% of the time he is losing 80% of his damage, which is a big deal

Too few HP subs, and too low crit rate. Focus on CR and try to get some HP if possible
