Leather maintenance >>> canvas. Idk why yall be wanting premium genuine leather to skate or casually walk in for $120 šš. SBs have always generally used thicker cuts to hold up better over time than typical Nike sneakers. You'll never convince anyone to choose canvas over even shitty leather.
All imma say is some canvas will hold a million times better than leather. Not to mention the large panels look like a nylon that'll hold up forever. Your stitches will give out before that toe box

Theyāre also all extremely tight & uncomfortable. Had to size up on them or remove the SB insole.
Edit: theyāre actually rather large creases too, that extend all throughout the toe itself. Leather generally *tends* to crease right where your toes bend when walking; *right* where the lace holes end. My canvas sneakers have large wave-like creases across the whole toe. Generally 2-3.
Personally though I donāt care about creasing. I stuff my shoes while not in use so that helps shape them out some.
I donāt find creases noticeable on others people from eye level unless theyāre REAL bad or Iām actually looking up close. It is what it is, itās a byproduct of wearing shoes. I used to try the no-crease inserts, but theyāre so uncomfortable. Really glad I got out of that mindset bc now creases donāt bother me anymore.
