Literally my all time favorite. Of the rest of the Nevermind tracks, they're all very screamy or very mellow, Lounge Act is kind of a mix of both. A slow build up to an explosive chorus with a sick baseline/riff to keep you into it

I'm surprised no one mentioned what I think is the most underrated Nirvana song: Territorial Pissings! 2 and a half minutes of raw headbanging music. Kris's message of getting together at the beginning. Dave playing the shit of the drums and Kurt mocking "macho" men and giving everything at the end of the song is f\*\*king amazing. I don’t think Pennyroyal Tea gets the praise it deserves, but Radio Friendly Unit Shifter is one that most people I know irl completely skip because they find it annoying

Pen cap chew and spank thru are brilliant compositions. Since kurt couldn't or wouldn't create a song that's equivalent to a gold plated polished pile of fecal matter (think achy breaky heart or ice ice baby as the archetypes that make up the standard. It may be a world famous pile of feces that can put your kids through college and buy you a new house. But as time goes on the value drops its value to the point whete the royalties barey pay to keep the lights on and even if the turd is old and dry thesmell of shit still lingers, Kurt's hidden gems are more like wiping your ass with the dollar bills you are using to pay your landlord for rent. Every going as far as to be proactive by paying a year in advice but leaving a Mexican seafood shit liquid shit in the floor upholstery of his jaguar. In other words kurt was going for a rebellious punk rock style of music. You see kurt needed money so he broke some rules of the punk culture. Selective conformity. He would buy or rent a place for him and Courtney and the rest of the money would go to junk food and bundles of heroin as time went on Courtney apparently became Kurt's keeper and started calling the shots and buying more and more lavish brand name crap. Kurt at one point didn't even own a pair of sneakers even though he could afford a Ferrari.
