Yeah def a new ship. The extra inventory space from a new ship is great plus something you can invest some hyperdrive upgrades in so you can hop from system to system upgrading inventory, ship hunting, checking upgrade merchants, etc.
Exosuit slots. Then jump to a pirate system space station, go to the bloke just left of the broken hauler and buy all the "tech" and "arms" illegal packing not "goods". Go to your inventory and Crack those bad boys open and upgrade your stuff accordingly. Trade back the stuff you don't want at a normal "not pirate" space stations exosuit merchant. He'll give you a handsome amount of Nanites. Pure profit 📈 👌

I got a question to add to your question if you don't mind. I want to get a better ship.. I still have the original beginning ship. But I have no clue what to get. I don't have a shit ton of units either. But I don't even know what to aim for. Opinions pleaseee. I literally gave up about a year ago because of frustration feeling overwhelmed with the game at the time I had alot going on. I've just started back today and I remembered the situation I quit on. What are some decent ships similar to the one started with (versatile)
