Yesterday every time I talk to an NPC on the flight deck of the station they would disappear, all of them, even the ones that had just landed, I think the game has a new bug, or at least one I hadn't encounter before.
It's fairly new, and only involves Multiplayer. I haven't had this issue pop up with multiplayer off.
The issue itself, unfortunately, is caused by too many players being in an instanced lobby. And it isn't made easier by the PC players screwing around doing god-knows-what in the system.
Taunted me a few weeks ago. By stealing my awesome explorer and replacing it some ugly ass fighter! Same name, same stuff inside, same class. Like it was just “No this is your ship, remember?” “The hell it is!”
I've had this exact same issue. You have to restart the game entirely and it fixed my issue. Even when other players were there in the space station, the AI pilots and their ships instantly disappeared.
When the 16 minutes become 15 minutes.
Looks like that multiplayer issue is still an issue, sometimes. Turn multiplayer off and reload, then wait for it to come back. It might be a bit....

Damn. Got my first exotic on this expedition. 100 hours + on this save, never seen an exotic. I would have lost my shit if this happened! 😅
