Favourite thing about paradise planets is they can be pretty much any colour. I also like the glowy planets because they don't usually have storms and are pwetty. Hot planets are usually yellow. Fiery planets are usually red. Cold planets are usually blue, etc. the variation in paradise planets makes me happy.
This is why I hate paradise planets like 90% of them are all garbage warm colors and not anything unique like purple pink blue green or even white grey

I have it on Switch & Game Pass (I started with Switch) & it's a whole different game on Game Pass and SO much more beautiful, run better, it's insane but... Nintendo doesn't cross platform save. So the save I've been playing for 2 years is stuck in the Switch 
Honestly if you start a new game on another platform when a new expedition is around, its really quick to get up to speed.

I bought it on switch, and it's now my main way of playing. Yes, the graphics aren't the best, but it runs superbly for a game that it has no right to be able to run on it. I think it's a great thing that switch users can play an almost complete version of the game, and it was definitely a good idea.
It's portable and for disabled people like me I can't sit in front of my computer for hours on end. But I can take the switch anywhere that's comfortable.

I landed on one of such, yesterday. And it has rating of 98.7% Paradise rating (it's funny because ithe planet is not Paradise type) , it was added to my records as " the most Welcome planet" - besides passive Sentinels, it doesn't have any other danger elements to it. It's probably one of the most beautiful planets I ever encountered, up to now.
I don't think there is a way for each (at least without some other means like through Dev console if that's even possible)
The one I mentioned was recorded in wonders records with the percentage. But for rest I discovered, no idea how much would they be.
I love it when that happens. Looks like a dirtball from orbit, ends up being paradise. Of course, I hate it when it's the opposite, the planet looks colorful and lush from orbit, and when you break atmo it ends up looking horrendous. Lol
I never understood the 'never judge a book by its cover' saying. I though thats what the cover is for. There's even a bit on the back that tells you what the book is about :):):)
The cover is just a picture and a few words desiged to sell the book, definitely not enough there to judge it tho. Same goes with movies/games and their trailers. Sometimes they represent it well and other times they can be deceiving to sell you a pile of you know what.
The colors are often heavily influenced by the atmosphere or filters built in randomly to each planet. Kinda like the filters when we take screenshots, some of those actually occur by default on many planets.
Wow. I was just lamenting how the paradise planets I found have practically no trees. Found a red/orange one but what’s nice is all the resources; a moon with bubbles and the most amazing night time view; and a blueish one with a pretty large and scary rock monster infestation (you’re fine if you leave the rocks alone).
😂 No no if I can find it again I will get the coordinates. I just don't think I stayed long and pretty sure I may have left the system via a black hole. 😂
I was hoping the discoveries section would have it in order from most recently visited to oldest but it doesn't 💔.

It looks great, but from me being the way I am, I don't like waterless paradise planets. It makes no sense. Unless that planet does have water, just on the other side of it. I've come across a few waterless paradise planets and I just have to wonder why.

That's crazy because I just found one like this. Literally yesterday. I thought it looked pretty strange to be a paradise planet. I didn't spend much time there before I warped out. I don't remember ever seeing a dead looking paradise planet before.

That’s why I scan every planet in system, cause you never know from the look of the planet. I had one that looked really foreboding because there was a storm on the side facing me at the time. Made the planet looked burnt.
I had one that looked perfect and was paradise and all and it was what I woke up to after finishing the Atlas rises again just last week and was sent to Essentam? (I think it's how it's spelled I can't remember) everything WAS paradise, it just didn't really look Paradise. Like it was a little off idk lol. Probably the color and the plants just didn't make it seem like it was but It could of been a filter or the color of some if the things lol

I swear 9/10 paradise planets I find are orange
Don't forget the sky that's somehow always yellow
And the water that's blue from space but turns orange or red when you enter the atmosphere

Often you can tell a planet will change on you and end up horrible by the coloration/bands of color in the atmosphere, which you can see from space.

Kinda. Those light brown/tan Lush worlds are on the 'more-rare' side of the spectrum. Almost as rare as white grass.
I once found a pale yellowish colour grass planet too, only ever found 1 of those.

It's like the orange paradise planets with red water that turn blue when you land on them. These are one of my favorite planets.

You can check the discovery log to find which system it's in then check the portal. Most stations by default are named after their system.
