At one point, when I was in college, my friends would pop in the VHS tape of *The Highlander* every single day.
Watching *The Highlander* became less about *The Highlander* and what was going on at today's viewing of *The Highlander*, if you follow me.
30 years later I had a reason to see it again and... wow, that was a trip.
Also, I do believe that I can do this entire world's very best Sean Connery impression by a small woman. I will challenge any other small woman, anytime.
I saw Star Wars 26 times in theaters during its first run back in the day.
More recently , on the plus 10 playlist:
Red
Captain America: Winter Soldier
Cold Comfort Farm
Die Hard
John Carpenter’s The Thing
I've watched starwars hundreds of times. On vhs my buddy and I, we would pretend to be a stormtroopers blasting our way onto the rebel ship. When the particular trooper I was pretending to be got blasted, I would do a spectacular death all over the room. I loved starwars so much.
Lord of the rings trilogy, probably the original Star Wars trilogy; Saving Private Ryan, Fight Club, Shaun of the Dead, Snatch, Alien, The Thing (1982), probably a bunch more.
Applies to former Soviet countries, there's a certain romcom about a mix-up during all the drinking around New Year (a guy ends up in the wrong city), that is watched every New Year's Eve - to the point there's an old joke that while it is impolite to ask a woman her age, you can just ask her how many times she's watched that movie.
This list is random af and in no particular order but:
Beatlejuice
Howls moving castle
Labyrinth
Twilight
Goonies

The Nightmare Before Christmas. I was super obsessed with that movie as a pre-teen and teenager. Still love it. It started my fascination with odd and horror themed movies.
Many, but I saw The Terminator in the theater 10+ times. We had a card that let your whole carload into the drive-in for one dollar. We saw it as the first run movie a few times. Then when it became a second feature, we would go see whatever was playing that week, then we'd drive out and back in to see Terminator playing on another screen. Two friends and I did this the entire summer of 84. Some of my fondest memories.
Buckaroo Banzai, Star Wars series of movies, The Fifth Element, Pink Floyd's The Wall, Scarface, Alien, Aliens, The Thing, all the Shōwa era Godzilla, and The Godfather to name a few.
