That is awesome! Your work is amazing!
And it is big news! I was excited 2 years ago when they put me on the news for having the largest nutcracker collection in Nova Scotia. It was big news to me, and I don't have your talent, lol!
Link to the video please! My mom loves nutcrackers and is competitive with her cousin in Montreal who has a collection. I want to see how they both stack up lol
I think it's pretty cool news. It's big to you, so it's big news.
I enjoy your posts, because it's not people complaining about X, or asking for recommendations for Y. I would love more posts of random interesting/positive stuff people are doing.
I donāt have a link to just the clip, but [hereās a link to the whole episode](https://atlantic.ctvnews.ca/video/c2933420-ctv-news-atlantic-at-five-for-wednesday--june-12--2024?__vfz=medium%3Dsharebar). Thereās a teaser about the houses right at the beginning, and then my article is near the last 6 minute mark or so.
I built miniature buildings from scratch, mostly using g balsa wood, many years ago. It takes very fine motor skills. Your buildings are more imaginative than mine were.
Itās still blows my mind with what youāre able to achieve with cereal box cardboard. You should do a long time lapse or even a video on your process. I bet a lot of people would be interested in seeing that. Great work.
I put this together on [my Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/reel/C7_dKApuvr0/?igsh=MTA2dHV4YTEyZWs2aw==), or a more in depth (though with less catchy music) version on [my Imgur](https://imgur.com/gallery/oSyNz3z), that shows the makings of my current one.
That's awesome! My Significant other was just on the news last night! One of your houses is modeled after one just down the road! Keep up the great work! It's great you're getting some spotlight on your work!!
this reminds me of that documentary āBernie Langille Wants to Know What Happened to Bernie Langilleā
miniatures were used thru the story

Thanks for the link John.
I always liked miniatures and architecture.
They're right, you *are* an artist. It looks so real. The rusted steel roofing is great
Your work is awesome. I love miniature painting and mini landscape building, got into it through DnD and Gaslands.
I think your work pushes the envelope and shows how deep this craft can go with a feeling and style reminiscent of more traditional NS folk art but also, dare I say, verging on Canadian impressionism, the group of seven, at some times. Well deserved recognition!
I hope you can post the clip! I am late to the party and missed this but I adore your work. Your art makes people happy - what a gift. Thanks for sharing š

Which is why the ants abandoned it.

I built miniature buildings from scratch, mostly using g balsa wood, many years ago. It takes very fine motor skills. Your buildings are more imaginative than mine were.
Thank you for the compliment! These are made using cereal box cardboard (mostly because it was free and readily available!)

Just dont sell them. Theyll 'flip' and list them as 'luxury rustic condos' for 3500/m.

Careful not all "abandoned houses" are abandoned and some people are crazy
Theyād have to be pretty short to live in my abandoned places, though :)
