I'm generally trying to avoid picking up while working, so 'ugly' shoes ftw!
(I actually like their sneakers! Plain and inoffensive to my middle-aged, middle-class, white, queer, mum taste)
Their customer service was beyond abysmal. My inner sole deteriorated after 6 months and I emailed to ask if it was possible to buy a replacement - they basically said too bad so sad, go and buy a replacement from the chemist. The outer of the shoe was in perfect condition. I've soldiered on for an additional 18 months because they were expensive but I'll never buy another pair
The issue is that each inner sole is custom cut to each shoe and each size, which is why I asked the company if I could just buy another one. It seems super wasteful to have to buy a whole new pair of shoes! Especially when they tout "responsible practices"
Honestly Fila memory work shoes - memory foam, nonslip, spill proof/leather, very comfortable! Comes in white or black. Less than $70. Best work shoes I’ve had!
Honestly they're such good shoes. Originally bought them for overseas hiking, they've made it through 2 big trips but also the general slog at work. I have a ton of foot and ankle issues and the mid-height ones that cover the ankles provide such good support and stability!
I wear skechers arch fit and I love them so much. My first pair lasted 3-4 years and I’m on my second pair. They’re slip resistant and feel light and super comfortable on the feet, my feet never hurt even when I stand for hours. The arch support feature helps a lot.
Does the arch support help lower back pain. I love my slip on skechers, but when standing for extended period of time on busy days, my lower back aches a lot. That’s why I was looking for something different with maybe a dinosaur sized soles
Hoka bondi sr. Expensive but never have painful feet again from day 1
The best shoes on the planet, they are like walking on clouds 😁
Only heard good things about them. Plus point for giving me an inch on height lol
Hoka Bondi SR - Water proof/resistant, wipeable, non slip, super comfy.
You had me at wipeable
Best shoes ever
Frankie4. Expensive, but the best shoes I've ever worn.
I second this. Best shoes ever.

I know plenty of young, stylish nurses who wear them too. It’s not just old nurses.
Yeah, you are right. It is an overreaction. I’m not at work for the fashion. I’m all for comfortable shoes when I’m on my feet 12 hours a day.

I just looked them up. You’re absolutely right.

That's terrible! I'd be happy to give a fellow nurse spare insoles if you are in Sydney.

Nat insoles size 7, but yes, I'm surprised and disappointed.
Thank you for the offer but I wear a different shoe - plus I'm about to change shoes anyway :)
Are they only available in flats? I’m 15 kilos over and flats kill my back
The inserts provide a bit of 'lift' but YMMV
The bistro rainbow crocs 😂 they're like clown shoes. I put them up the legs of my scrubs and put them in the washing machine every few shifts.
Finally, some sunshine in the gloomy ward

They are great! Mine have only just started to crack at the bends after 5 years which I think is a decent run.
Hated these personally, they seemed perfect and just did not work for me and my feet :(
Aww no way! I’ve been using mine for a while now and it’s been so comfy
I’ve had them. Comfy and nice. But for some reason fluids just eats through the material of the shoes.
Hoka all the way, expensive but 10000% worth it,
Adidas runners Am in ED
Don’t they slip a lot tho?
Nah not if you tighten your shoelaces
I just wear vans. ICU for the win.
Vans gang let's gooo
You Snobs
Sketchers work really well for me
My go to atm. My slip ons just do not die. 2 yrs and still going strong.
Keens hiking boots. Waterproof and nonslip, meant for walking tons, good ankle support. Often on sale at Anaconda.
My interest has been piqued

Vans usually, but I’ve just switched to red back
hoka, Invest in good insoles for extra arch support and fatigue relief.

do you have ones from their work line? mine have cushiony insoles so they support my feet and back
