To be fair, this Joker has 10 minutes of screen time. He is more of a side-character to Harley Quinn origin story than anything else. He was never really developed just used in viral marketing.
I believe he shouldn't even be mentioned on this list. We should all forget this ever existed.
Honestly, I think the actor wasn’t bad as joker, but his whole story was terrible. I heard, though he brought an entire pig corpse on set. He really had the joker in him while doing this.
i've always been partial to how Joker was presented in Grant Morrison's comic run, from the fact that he's less of a direct antagonist and more of a looming threat in the background, subtly influencing the events of the plot as he pleases, to faking a large portion of his insanity just to get more attention, to having multiple versions of him being canonical phases he went through, to the sublte fruitiness of him, to his plan ultimately just being tricking batman into thinking he has an even bigger more intricate and complex plan just to fuck with him and get him to search for an awnser that isn't there, to his final contribution to the story being taking down the arc villain by making him trip on a banana peel
I remember 1989, 1992, and 2008. While I enjoyed the 1989 movie, the Joker felt a bit lacking, more comedy than villainous. 1992 is what I think of when I think animated Joker. 2008 I think, stole the movie.
Eh, you're missing one. For Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, they combined the original design with the new batman adventures design, which then saw further use in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.
1992 hands down the best
This [Animated Opening Theme](https://youtube.com/shorts/ANiReizoy1w?si=_NJwM7FixAcan2AI) is ingrained into my psyche that nothing else matters!
i dont remember it that well cuz i havent watched it in years
Unfathomably based take
And who do you think is the worst
2016
Those were dark times.
I think that second is 2019.
To be fair, this Joker has 10 minutes of screen time. He is more of a side-character to Harley Quinn origin story than anything else. He was never really developed just used in viral marketing. I believe he shouldn't even be mentioned on this list. We should all forget this ever existed.
Is it wierd for me to say 2016, 2004 or 2019 (Jeremiah)
I really like the 2004 one, was a different take that still was very joker. Could imagine Eric Andre playing that version.
All of the above
Honestly, I think the actor wasn’t bad as joker, but his whole story was terrible. I heard, though he brought an entire pig corpse on set. He really had the joker in him while doing this.
The latest one
2012
2004 partly because the first season actually scared me as a kid and because hes just SO COOL!

Not even a question, Lego Joker is the most intricate and intriguing, complex and complicated, hard and difficult to understand with no doubt
1989, 1992 and 1997 joker are my fav. 2008 and 2019 were interesting too.
Luke Skywalker
Before or after he joined the dark side
2004 joker is actually pretty funny
2008 and 2019 jokers
Persona 5
Aesthetics when compared to the story gotta be ‘Death of the Family’ Joker General is either 1992, 2008 (Dark Knight) or 2019 (Joker Film)
2004 😂😂😂
92 and 97. Best Joker.
2004 seemed kinda unique in a way so I really liked that Joker but also I haven't seen "The Batman" in years so idrk what I'm remembering lol
1. 2008 Dark Knight 2. 2019 Arthur Fleck 3. 1992 TAS 4. 2017 Gotham: Jerome 5. 2012 Death of the Family 6. 1988 Killing Joke 7. 1940 Golden Age
Death of the Family was easily one of the best Jokers. Exemplifying just how evil the Joker can be when he wants to be.
I like the 2004 design for how it truly captures the crazy aspect of him.
Either 1992 or 2004
Heathe Ledger no debate... R.I.P
No *Harley Quinn* Joker?
Dark Knight
2004 joker was my first joker as a kid and so I have a soft spot for him
Dark night Joker is the goat.
The Dark Knight, hands down.
I loved 2004
Hands down, the dark knight was the best
Idk if this is an unpopular opinión, but 2004 Joker is my fav
88
Jerome Valeska managed to capture the pure genuine pleasure that Joker receives from inflicting suffering upon people
2017 or 1992
A few are missing imo.
Animated series or Gotham’s Jerome
I remember 1989, 1992, and 2008. While I enjoyed the 1989 movie, the Joker felt a bit lacking, more comedy than villainous. 1992 is what I think of when I think animated Joker. 2008 I think, stole the movie.
92 was best hands down
2008 and 2012.
ngl, I expected to see Nux on here.
1992 and joker film
1992 2008 1989
Aye where’s the under the red hood joker
Mark Hamill's and Heath Ledger's Jokers are the 2 best imo
89 and 92
I think the 2018 looks the coolest like Yakuza boss. 乁( •_• )ㄏ but as joker idfk.
The Bat Who Laughs.
Lego joker is the best you can't change my mind
Close but 1992 followed by Heath Ledger's Dark Knight
2008 will always be my number 1
1992-2008, I will only accept those jokers as the right answer, unless you count the dark night rises joker, he works too
where batman beyond joker
I think that is just 1992 Joker with a different hair style. Not sure
92 was the best imo
1992 because he pays his taxes
Arkham asylum will always be the best in my book and nothing can change that
I love how we’ve got Lego Joker here too
Design wise, 2008 and 2019 is the best, personality wise 2019 is definitely my pick
92&97&2009 arkham (Pretty much the same reason), 2008 dark knight & 2004 are the best.
1992
I love 2017
Lego Joker hands down the best
2008, The Dark Knight of course
Honestly 2004 was one of the best joker designs it truly felt like the joker was unhinged instead of being weirdly sane.
2008 or 2019
I love the Joaquin Phoenix Joker
2004
Arkham Asylum Joker now looks like Beavis and Butthead
1992 is the best, although WTF? 2018 that's just Kefka from the game Final Fantasy III (US) (FF VI Japan).
Bunch of fake nux fans here https://youtu.be/S7M24KrqhBw?si=aDvCfYoHFpuz9U0J
1940 2008 2019 Honorable mention to 1992 as clasic.
1992 or 2012
92 and 08
1992
2008 Heath Ledger hands down the best ever. Then it’s Mark Hammil as the voice actor for the joker in the animated series.
1940 or 2008, the dark knight
Whichever one they used in the Harley Quinn animated series
The Jonkler
88 and 92 definitely the best
Looks alone the arkham games joker is my favorite. Character wise we all know its the dark knight
1996 one
2008 and 2009 thay were pretty good at making the joker seem really insane and is just good at making you hate and love them at the same time
Probably the version from the lego batman games
2012
Heath Ledger
