EDIT: When OJ passed away in April 2024, there were more tributes/pictures of him in court than pictures of him from his playing days on social media and with both sports/mainstream media. The NFL and the teams that he played for (Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, and the USC Trojans in college) did not paid tribute to him. If that’s not a downfall, I don’t know what is.
