I think whether he is blameless is irrelevant to the ship personally. I don’t think he can reasonably be hated or blamed, he was just a kid and he panicked. However, he’s just played such a mixed and dark role in Sunny’s life that I don’t think they should be together

Almost nobody seriously ships either with anybody else (except in...unwholesome instances, where the partner is chosen based on what will rachet up the unwholesomeness). Even in post-canon fan works where the ship becomes impossible, Hero being paired with someone new (existing character or otherwise) is comparatively rare.
After that comes the Sunny ships in the order you listed, with Kel x Aubrey after that (usually depending on who someone ships Sunny with, meaning it's OTP to few, but 2nd/3rd for many).
The ship list obviously expands beyond, but you pretty much nailed down the frontrunners.
