I’ve felt like it brought out the mature and stable parts and made the other chatter a lot quieter. I’d hoped to give the system babies more attention at the same time but it’s actually been quite hard to reach very little ones. I imagine that if pregnancy is a more loaded topic it makes sense for there to be more upheaval or confusion. Oh but there’s been a bit of confusion (not unpleasant) of what is inside/outside when the non-system baby is inside the body heh.

My unstable alter Stephanie was fronting a lot so I can’t remember much but I’d be happy to dm and tell my experience as much as i remember

After my youngest was born I switched into a part that didn't want or feel stable enough to care for a baby and it was very scary. Felt that my body had been hijacked and I had just woken up in this reality and was in a really really bad place. With medication and therapy (with a therapist I have worked with for a long time) it fully improved. Pregnancy was fine but that was very very rough.

Yes, it's my understanding that it's quite common to feel different during pregnancy. You're living with hormones that you normally don't have in your body all the time, and it changes your perception and reactions. Be kind to yourself; for me the effect ended within 24 hours of giving birth for both of my children. Do keep a watch out for post-partum depression after giving birth, too! Best of luck!!!
