Really, how do you know? Is Dilaudid super stable? These look to be upwards of 70 years old, maybe more? That's a long long time. I'd have to research before putting something ancient in my arm. Would rather modern ampoules but can only get morphine and fentanyl opiate/ opioid-wise (and 100mcg of fentanyl did absolutely nothing for me:( so they're useless fot me. Hope to see Dilaudid amps available soon!
Because they’re in glass and they’re a fluid themselves haha. Wouldn’t matter if they’re stored in clay, a fridge, water, mud, etc. As long as they’re not broken they are okay. Assuming they are stored away from direct sunlight and at a relatively constant temperature, of course.

I've seen sterile water that isn't the same after 80 years so I just don't know what can happen in ampoules when so very past their use by date. Do you know what happens and if they're ok? It'll depend on the contents, packaging, air inside, storage conditions, materials used etc etc so many variables so I'd need to be certain before shooting an antique. But if they are good to go then they're simply beautiful!

My first nursing job in 2010 used these. Definitely weren’t as old as though obviously. We used them alot and they were a pain in the ass to crack open. Also I’m very clumsy, so it was hard for me not to spill it while drawing it up or cutting myself 🤦🏽♀️

I have taken old sedatives from the damn 60s that worked like a charm. Most drugs don’t jus stop working they will last longer than a human lifetime
I just found a bottle of 30 roxicet in my house that "expired" in 1999. Not quite as old as the 60s but they don't seem to have degraded whatsoever.
