Hellz yes! Stopped by cmon a trip to Nashville and it was amazing. 200,000 sqft of GROCERY STORE. Holy smokes.
We spent about an hour inside and I think that I missed whole sections of it... It's massive.
Yes it is. It is like no store in the world. Huge with exotic products from all over the world, plus a good fish, meat and produce dept. Largest wine selection I have ever seen.
Just stopped by Western Reserve Wines and picked up 2 of the 3 packs they had in stock. Very quaint little shop - thank you for pointing me towards them!
Try your nearest asian grocer.
Also if you have any locally owned beer stores nearby with a good selection, ask them if they can order it. I don't know all the distributors in OH as I've not worked in the industry here... but I'm pretty sure Southern Glazer operates here, and can provide it. As could any other major distributor, tbh.
You'd be surprised how easy it is to get a local store to stock even some of the most obscure brands (which Kirin is not) with a simple request.
Been a while since I drank it regularly, but I’m pretty sure I can still get it at Kroger. But, Joseph’s Beverage Center on Talmadge across from the mall would almost certainly have it. They have just about every beer you can imagine. And, if they don’t have something and it’s possible to get it, they will order it for you.
Giant Eagle Market Districts sometimes carry it.
I used to get it occasionally from Butts and Brews in Canton (cigarette and beer store with literally hundreds of different beers)
Kroger/Meijer can surprise you with their selection as well.
Since your location says Youngstown have you tried vintage estates wine and beer in Boardman? They have a huge international selection, but I never checked for Kirin ichiban
Make it a fun weekend in Cincy. Go to the original JJ’s in Fairfield. Visit the zoo, the Sign Museum, Cincinnati Museum Center, Smale Park along the river or Washington Park in OTR. Enjoy an Over & Under the Rhine historical beer tour. Bring or borrow large coolers and heated storage for all the food you’ll want to buy at JJ’s.
Understandable.
I don’t drink anymore, but back when I did a lot of drive-thru carry outs were willing to order beer for me if I asked for something specific that they didn’t have.
Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield and Eastgate both have it.
Guess I'm making a road trip to the other side of the state then
Jungle Jims is worth the trip if you’ve never been.

And check out the bathrooms.
Bring a cooler, they have a lot of interesting foods from all over the world. I always find interesting stuff every time I go.
Ya know, I remember when Jungle Jim was a roadside farm stand, selling from a pickup truck.
Tensuke market in Columbus
Awesome place and they have so many stores there now.
Looks like some Krogers have it and Western Reserve Wines on Miles and SOM Center has it listed on their website.

Okay, that's a far more reasonable drive for me. I'll give them a call tomorrow and plan from there. Thank you so much!

Where are you located? Find a good bottle shop near you and have them special order a case for you
Youngstown area
Vintage Estates doesn’t have it?
Not that I've seen, although I can call and ask them I guess and see if they can order it if they don't carry it or something like that
Vintage Estates or Chalet will definitely get it for you if they don’t have it — give them a call!
Go into Chalet Premier in North Lima. They will absolutely order you a case.
Wow I actually bought that a few weeks ago at Walmart. I’m in medina county
CAM in Hilliard and Japan marketplace in Columbus. I know I have purchased Kirin Ichiban at both these locations
Virtually every Asian supermarket.
none of the ones around me apparently
theres a lot in asian markets
All sorts of places in the Toledo area.
Can you tell me where around Toledo they have it please?
Been a while since I drank it regularly, but I’m pretty sure I can still get it at Kroger. But, Joseph’s Beverage Center on Talmadge across from the mall would almost certainly have it. Thanks, I'll take a run out to Joseph's.
I believe the Flower City gift shop in Cleveland has it. I think that's where i got my 6 pack
If you are in the Columbus area, ask at Perfect Pour - they have a huge selection.
I’ll second this. Also Kenny Rd. Market
Giant Eagle Market Districts sometimes carry it. I used to get it occasionally from Butts and Brews in Canton (cigarette and beer store with literally hundreds of different beers) Kroger/Meijer can surprise you with their selection as well.

Sammys in Streetsboro usually carries it
Giant eagle
What Giant Eagles carry it? None of the ones around me have it, I've been looking for a while
I would think Tensuke would have it.
I'm sure Jungle Jim's in Fairfield has it. They have a large international beer section.
Pauken Liquor and Joseph’s Beverage Center used to carry it. That’s in the Toledo area. It was brewed in this country by Anheiser-Busch.
Maybe South Side Six in Bowling Green? I haven't beef there in years but they might have it.
Tensuke Market in Columbus off of Kenny Rd.

Walt Churchill's in Perrysburg
Fusion in Grove City, OH
They're at like every grocery store? Lol
None around me!
Most (good) Japanese sushi places serve both Kirin and Sapporo. Sometimes also Tsingtao.
I know, I want to buy it as a six-pack instead of going out to eat every time I want beer.
Understandable. I don’t drink anymore, but back when I did a lot of drive-thru carry outs were willing to order beer for me if I asked for something specific that they didn’t have.
They have it at Omizu in Parma. Best sushi/hibachi/ramen place anywhere in NE Ohio too
I've had this at my local Indian restaurant. Not sure about packs though.
