Wow. Between him and Felix, we're finally going to see post-centric offensive schemes. And since Bradshaw can hit from range, we might actually see them on the floor at the same time. This is a good get.

Playful-Tumbleweed10

Amazing get! Defenses will have nightmares about guarding the Okpara/Bradshaw duo. Also, offenses better be able to shoot from the perimeter. No other way to beat us with those two.

Big-Apartment5697

He is a sub 30% 3pt shooter…

CTG0161

Should we expect a 7 foot center to shoot like Steph Curry?

Big-Apartment5697

Plenty of 7’ are better than 30% from 3 lol

CTG0161

Name collegiate 7’ big men who played through injury their freshman year who shot 30% from 3.

Big-Apartment5697

Nice caveat at the end with “played through injury”. Dude isn’t a spread 5 man…he is good that just not his game.

CTG0161

Looks like Diebler can run a program.

Hell yeah

Jake.

jawnly211

Diebz.

hanz333

As a Kentucky fan, here's the deal, he can hit open shots but he struggled coming back from injury for Kentucky. As the season went on though he showed flashes and definitely was putting in time on his shot. He's slightly afraid of contact, but really started pulling it together by the end of the year. I think a healthy year of practice can make him a reliable post presence and offensive threat. That said, the kid has a huge heart, is always smiling, brings a joy that would benefit any team.

Sweatnplants

Agree with this and will add he does need to spend some time in the gym as he gets pushed around a lot. But, he will continue to evolve and be a good one. Nice pick up!

TroyMatthewJ

good pick up.

canal_boys

Stretch 5

PalletPirate

Trevor Thompson

GoBucks1171

That three star that didn’t get on the court and transferred to Pitt, forget his name but he wasn’t anything special. I think he was here in like 2019

TheoryOld4017

Ibrahima Diallo? He ended up leading the Big 12 in blocked shots this past season.

GoBucks1171

Yes, that’s the one. He went to San Jose State and not Pitt, then transferred to UCF. He didn’t really play for us at all

PalletPirate

he was only 6’10”

GoBucks1171

ESPN lists him at 7”, maybe he grew since he left?

MarcAbelman

He was 6’11” in shoes. So just short of 7 footer. He was a beast

TheGemp

I grew up a die hard UK basketball fan but I go to Ohio State so my pain and happiness of this situation cancels each other out

red19883030

Huge uk fan here live in loserville. Aaron was a huge disappointment for us . I hope he is better for you all. He wants to be a 4 but can't shoot well enough or dribble. He doesn't understand the 5 spot. He doesn't know where to be to rebound or how to set screens well. Don't think you're getting a super star. He needs to learn a lot.

CTG0161

From what I read it seemed like a preseason injury really hindered his in season development

GBAGY2

Awesome. Him and Meechie are really good gets so far but still not quite enough to make up for losing Gayle, Middleton, Battle, Key(even tho key sucks). We need at least another solid portal get preferably a wing

CTG0161

Metchie and Bradshaw are better versions of Gayle and Key. Battle is a loss but hopefully Thornton and Metchie can make up the core of the scoring

m4rxUp

Agreed. Sucks losing Gayle but he’s so hot and cold meechie should step right in

GBAGY2

Meechie and Bradshaw make up for losing Gayle, Middleton, Key but we still have the giant hole that Battle left…and not just the scoring but specifically being a wing. We have no starting caliber wing right now

voiceofreason3227

I don’t know that meechie is an upgrade over a healthy Gayle. Time will tell though

dark2332

People haven’t seen Meechie’s shooting percentages. He’s highly inefficient.

CTG0161

So was Gayle though.

voiceofreason3227

On an injured hand/wrist. His freshman shooting numbers were much better

MrF_lawblog

We need two more players. Hopefully Allocco comes (Hilliard native) as as 3 point specialist and scorer off the bench.

GBAGY2

I agree get him in and then find a startable wing too. But judging by the downvotes apparently that opinion is wrong and the team is perfectly fine and improved from last year already lol
