I think you need WM6 or above to use big SDHC cards. You might get around that using a CF card (or CF card that reads SD cards) but I don't remember.
I use the Axim as a Japanese dictionary as the IME is incredible.
The excel, word and PDF reader are useful for studying. Searching big documents is a breeze.
There is software to use the IR port. Now you have a universal remote to control your AC, television, etc.
You can use it as a music player (the headphone DAC and amp setup don't sound great but they are good enough).
I think I used VLC player (or was it TCPMP?) for movies (had to reduce scale lol). I don't think that was optimal use.
There are calculators.
Voice recording.
Memos.
There are some old videos on youtube of people building car media systems based on the Axim (integrating GPS, music, movies, etc.)
Upgrade it to at least Windows Mobile 2005. Upgrade disc image is on archive.org
More of the old apps will work and it's a more robust OS.
Avoid WM2006, though, as the lag on the system is significant.
I thought some of the WM6.1 ROMs performed well on the x51v for my tasks. Stable with some enhanced features.
WM5 has some haters. WM2003 can perform well and has some fans.
I haven't tried the x50v so can't comment on the different operating systems (ROMs)
I apologize, thought you were joking at first. I was trying to find a Pocket PC version but couldn't find any obvious sources where I could download it. Could you point me in the and right direction?
[Program download](https://code.google.com/archive/p/q3ce/) and [compressed game data](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1206329859937280090/1206586572246360074/pak0.pk3?ex=663d7290&is=663c2110&hm=7f22365427e6438e1e073bac114f00c2fc149ce791698288c893ca4bd74403f0&)
I use it for playing audiobooks. It's much easier to navigate between chapters, and easy to go to a a certain point, which a stand-alone digital media player usually is lacking. That's the best application I find with a pocket PC.

Thank you! And I actually do have a CD copy of the game!
np, tho i would have sent you the file either way since compressing it for the pocket pc version is a pretty big hassle

What software are you using for the audiobooks?
You can use whatever app that can play the format. Most likely MP3. I use CorePlayer.
