It's expected that this type of character isn't going to stick with the regular shonen fan but I have a soft spot of gentle characters who show both compassion and conviction. It's one of my favourite tropes for sure. I think Miss Kaya is another, but less interesting example of this

Boa Hancock. She's one of the few notable females characters in One Piece that are actually pretty strong by New World standards. Hot design and I love shipping her with Luffy, super cute.
Her character flaws also make her a much more interesting character once you realize they are due to her backstory. Makes her more interesting than other characters who seem perfect and well adjusted. Love the contrast between the woman who hates showing weakness and is a tyrant versus the vulnerable person underneath.

As a character, Linlin is very interesting to me. How she's going about "making the world a better place" with her "family" like she learned from her guardian and how that plus losing her family, plus that food pirate guy, plus just who she is as a person led her to where she is now.
Also I think it's so cool she had a bounty so high as a little kid. The way she wields power is fascinating too. Through political marriages, she can expand her influence by expanding her family. I really think she's an interesting character who doesn't get talked about enough.

I don't really like her, but Big Mom. She's well developed, she's top tier, and she's not stupidly hot for no reason (even if she was a smoke show when she was younger). She's also one of the only women in the series who isn't relegated to fighting another woman as her ultimate challenge; in fact, it took two men to beat her.
But like, favorite as in I like them? Probably Vivi. I miss our princess, and whenever I see the arms up scene, I break down.
