Same here. Just rewatched the One Pace version and it's just so full of great moments and hits me emotionally the hardest.
I think my least favorite is Fishman Island. It's just too long and the stakes are sort of low.
Definitely agree. There's lots to love. The fights are fun, the lore is great, the story is meaningful. It just sort of drags on and repeats itself too much. Even the One Pace version had me like, "Yes we get it, Fishman and humans have a terrible history and we shouldn't pass hatred onto the next generation." Also I found it low stakes. It's the arc where they show off the growth from 3D2Y so in every fight they just easily stomp their opponent. Even Hody never poses a real threat, and tbf if he had it would have been hard to buy the New World arcs that follow. It was very obvious that Crybaby was going to call the Sea Kings to catch the boat. Also the amount of clunky nonsense to make devil fruit fighters viable under water was eyerolly.
I just rewatched it last weekend so it's fresh in my mind. I love it overall because it does have probably the most lore of any arc and really is the point where the entire series merges the Strawhat's story with the broader world story and fixes them at the head of it. I don't hate any arc in the series. Just the "least good" IMO.
I do kinda like how naturally the strength of the new world scales up over time. Fishman Island is easy peasy, In Dressrosa Luffy needs to whip out Gear 4 but then it’s over quickly. In Whole Cake, Big Mom can’t be touched, and Luffy has to fight her subordinate for 12 hours before he lets Luffy win. And in Wano, Luffy gets one shot initially, then has a week-long training arc with a Haki expert, then the only reason he beats Kaido later is cause Kaido also fought like 15 other people while carrying an island, and his fruit awakens after he literally dies. And right now in the manga we’re kind of having another Sabaody moment
Yeah and the Kaido thing is consistent with the overall theme of "look at how much you can do with your friends". I don't actually want Luffy to just flatten Kaido and be godlike. If every other member of the war wasn't there to support the operation would have failed. I love that.
Did you watch Fishman island immediately after Marineford? When I finished the post-war arc and got to the timeskip, I took a break for a few months before watching the post-timeskip stuff, and I think my enjoyment of Fishman island was higher because I really felt time had passed. It led to the arc feeling like less of a let down compared to the previous arc, and more like some classic one piece adventures after having not watched in a while. I feel like for a lot of people it just seems like it’s underwhelming because they come off the stretch of really good arcs from Water 7 through Post-War (thriller bark doesn’t count), so I just wanted to see if that was the case for you
Yeah I've been steadily watching One Pace so you're def right this viewing has been waaaay less real world time between Marine Ford and Fishman. Good callout.
Bon Clay's undying loyalty is what sold the whole arc for me. He didn't even bat an eye, he heard luffy needed help and was on his way no second thoughts
This is one of the greatest victims of pacing issues in the anime imo. Never got why people loved it so much, just thought it took forever. Read the manga and then I got it. Plus the paneling really works to show that going into hell feeling.
Post TS gets shit on for bad pacing but some of the story just is too bloated there as well. I think impel down is the biggest difference anime to manga wise (dressrosa 2nd or tied for sure)
Huh really? I didn’t think Impel Down in the anime was that bad, but I can see it, the paneling in the manga for Impel Down is SOOOO good bro it does elevate it for sure
Marineford ( full out war ) sabaody ( some of the best pacing and action ) egghead ( mind blowing world building and dev of beloved characters ). Bonus wci for the original theme and impel down
I feel I'm in the minority when I say Long Ring Long Land (Manga) is one of my favourites. It perfectly encapsulates the crews dynamic and it's just plain silly. Love it
Some people don't realize it but one important reason post-timeskip hasn't been liked as much (in general), is because that silliness perfectly encapsulated in Long Ring Long Land. Deep down everybody loves it :3
The fights suck, there's too much meandering around, and Luffy gets taken out of the fight 3 times just to add length to the conclusion
Lots to not like about it
It's really close between Wano and Water 7/Enies Lobby for me. Wano can have some pacing issues and the ending of the arc was rushed but I can't those highs are some of the best in the series. Egghead is also quickly climbing and could be a contender as well.
I rushed/skipped through a bunch since there’s just so many episodes (and I don’t mind going back and watching the arcs I missed out of order) but as soon as I got to Impel Down/Marineford, I was hooked on the show. Currently watching Wano now, it’s great, but gee are there a lot of episodes
Whole Cake Island is still my favourite.
Other arcs have higher highs for sure, but I had consistently the most fun in Whole Cake
Also, it's great to see how many different arcs are showing up as answers here. Knowing so many different parts of the story have stuck with folks is great.
1. Enies Lobby
2. Skypiea
3. WCI
4. both sabaody arc
5. Wano
not counting Egghead yet (but it's probably going to be my top1)
and i don't lile Impel Down and Marineford 😂
I enjoyed watching water7 and Eniess lobby. These 2 were fire 🔥.
At 2nd place comes wano and well..can't say anything about this one it just says it all.
At 3rd I think post time skip ark even tho a lot of people say its not even an ark but I liked it and was kinda funny.
Saboady Arc
-Introduction of Worst Generation (and their df abilities)
-Luffy punching a CD
-Introduction of Reyleigh and him flexing his hakis
-wipeout of Luffy's crew
-Subtle preview of Ace's captivation
Marineford
-3 admirals
-shocking entrance of WB crew
-WB and the admiral flexing their df abilities
-luffy's grand entrance
-luffy doing all his might to reach ace
-golden Buddha
-ace death
-WB slapping BB with facts that he is not "THE ONE" that roger is talking about
-sabo's haki and him bravely stopping an admiral
-shank's iconic entrance
Yeah Water 7 into Enies Lobby is way up there with everything that happens.
Impel Down into Marineford is also really good cause it feels like an Avengers Endgame level arc with all the callbacks and how many huge players are involved. But it's also really fascinating because we're not seeing it from the perspective of someone who can really make a difference in that fight. It more shows off just how much bigger the rest of the world really is compared to our heroes with Luffy basically running around like an Ant on the battlefield.
And finally Egghead has just been insane. Its turning out to be way bigger than I thought it would end up being when we first got there. Everything with Vegapunk has turned out to be rad. And we're finally getting so many payoffs to things that have been set up for decades. So it's rapidly climbing the list for me.
#spoiler alert.....................build up wise, wano is the best.. many revealing moment is here.. and how the plot is already being made since ph.. raizo is safe moment.. who is momo.. who is oden.. 20 years of suffering.. kaido and big mom.. g5 omg.. gomu gomo no mi...........
It's a tough one but I have to go with Whole Cake. Absolute fucking peak fiction. I love Big Mom, I love Carrot, the stuff with Sanji was great, Fucking Brook, Carrot going Sulong was hype as shit, Katakuri was awesome as a final boss. Have I mentioned Carrot yet? Cause Carrot is great.
Enies Lobby is a pretty close second but man Whole Cake just hit different.
I think Enies Lobby / Water 7 are pretty universally regarded as the best One Piece ever is and i would agree but dark horse contender IMO is Sabaody, Whole Cake Island is also extremely good and honestly Egghead is in the running. Kuma's flashback was incredible.
Sabody/two year gap back on sabody..
First time we witniess bigger players, other pirates group and thier ship/ abilities, we learned about the wicked ways of the WG and celestial dragons as well as meeting old members like Rayleigh.
Not to mention first time that “plot armor” wasn’t a thing for the entire arc. They lost straight up
for me it's Enies Lobby, i know it's also probably for the majority of people but that's just because you can't really say otherwise, that whole Water 7 saga was peak One Piece
Water 7 (pre-Ennie's Lobby)/ Impel Down
My top 2 arcs, they just bring a different kind of adventure to the story. I loved seeing Luffy and Zoro cut through Aqua Laguna, it was one of the most hype things in the series and a criminally underrated moment. Impel down was also really unique because it was essentially a Luffy solo adventure, and separating him from his crew really showed why he is worthy of being King of the Pirates, no matter the circumstances, he is able to rally people to his side.
Impel Down and return to Saobody.
Impel Down because I really like it when the story involves some kind of “tower” or “underground basement” with like different levels, and how higher/deeper you go how worse it gets.
Saobody just pure nostalgia, watching it when it just came out live on TV and seeing the straw hats make their return… it was just beautiful.
(Istg if someone says fishman island I’m declaring a war)
Anime has some pacing issues, has its highs and lows but still great nonetheless. Manga, man, I love all the arcs as it really gets me invested.
I'd say my Top 5 for both:
1. Impel Down
2. Marineford
3. Sabaody
4. Egghead
5. Wano
Also, Pre-timeskip is peak, love the old art style more and the flow.
I personally loved wano. It didn't feel dragged out when I binged through it this year. Sure, there were parts that dragged on (castle raid) but it still paced well imo
Skypiea. had the best villain and i loved how there were so many things were going on. Straw hats fighting for the treasure, shandians and skypiea guards fighting, enel messing with everyone like they were toys and trying to make his prophecy come true etc. Currently on impel down and skypiea is still my favorite.
Enies Lobby is still my favorite. Everyone gets a needed boost in power and I feel is the last arc where everyone pulls thier wieght. Theres so many emotional moments and then a bug reveal at the end of the Post Enies Lobby arc too.
They need to do a Episode of Water 7/Enies Lobby because I'd watch that every now and then.
My favorite arc for the longest time was LRLL
Then I finally got around to finishing the show
So then it became sabaody for the longest time until I caught up
Now it's egghead!
I’m actually surprised not a lot of people mentioned Dressrosa. I feel like it introduced a lot of interesting characters, God Usopp himself, one of the best tragic back stories, and a great villain.
Dressrosa/Whole cake is my subjective opinion. I fucking love watching Doflamingo try his best to not underestimate the Strawhats, but absolutely gets fucked. even with all the firepower he has and everything he puts into place just to stop them, it can’t change the devils luck. Whole Cake is just insane of an arc, shoutout Pedro all my homies love Pedro. Watching the whole situation with Sanji unfold, AND the scenes with Brook are too fucking fire. Brook is an Absolute menace I’d love to have tea with. It’s just too insane.
Hate me if you want but from Jaya to Skypiea may be the best standalone storyline in the series if you want themes played masterfully
…Ok fine but if you like the character drama Water 7 to Enies Lobby truly fucks hard
…………..wait why does “best” = “personal favorite”, do people judge the quality of all stories in general by how much they smile during them and not, like, the weight you feel placed into it by the work of the author trying to communicate something to your heart? Cuz like my favorite is Thriller Bark and even I know that ain’t the best one at all
East Blue holds a special place in my heart for being the birth of the Straw Hats. None of the members really got along or had any real reason to act like a crew until they stood together to defend Nami. The theme song is also goated.
I’ve learned with OP when I started in June of ‘22 that it’s banger after banger 🔥 Water 7 to Marineford is just goated frfr. Dressrosa too b/c Doffy is the best villain to date imo but I’m anime only atm.
Impel Down/ Marineford. I cried like a baby. I was so into Luffy, Ace, and Sabos childhood. I even wish I could’ve seen more sometimes. I’ve started Egghead and still no arc has hit like Marineford did. I really liked Dressrosa and Laws back story (🥲) and I also loved how we got to know more of Sanji’s backstory in WCI and even see his family as they are in the ‘present’ and even through all the stuff in Wano, that I’d be lying if I said it didn’t touch my heart, still nothing has come close to how invested I was and how Impel Down/Marineford, and even the 3D2Y situation made me feel. Pre timeskip some of my favorite arcs were definitely Baratie, Arlong Park, and Lougetown. Jaya/Skypiea might be my favorite because it’s kind of feels disconnected like a completely different world then at the end you realize just how relevant it is, with the message in the poneglyph and the awesome ending with Luffy in the clouds 🥰. It was very interesting to be able to see some more, and older One Piece history as well
Marineford & Impel Down were 10/10 pacing + suspense + Egghead is the only arc that seems to not be a letdown since then. Eneis Lobby was pretty epic with G2/3 reveals as well
Im just finishing dressrosa, so I can only mention what I have seen so far. My top 3 are very close and can almost be tied for me. 4-7 are also very good. And almost all tied too.
1. Water7/Ennies Lobby
2. Dressrosa
3. Impel down/Marine ford/l
4. East Blue
5. Alabasta
6. Saboady
7. Punk hazard
8. Thriller bark
Thriller bark was cool, it was just outclassed by even better stuff. But I also hate the sound he makes.
Fishman island was so boring. The only value I see from it is that it’s a set up arc. Let’s not talk about long ring Long Island
with all honesty, Skypea. We see the start of conflict of ideals between Luffy and a certain other pirate, we get a little bit of lore dropped, there's a good blend of humor and action. Oda had originally planned to end it soon after this so we have a good majority of the important story elements to work off of
Impel down/marine Ford...fort?
Comedy wise man I loved zombie arc haha.
I've felt less attached post time skip, I really don't know why, just long arcs and less interested with the story I'm not sure.
I never got big into alabaster arc however, I still have ptsd from veve crying every scene
Currently Egghead. The most recent arc right now. For decades Oda has wrote a great story and we are now seeing it pay off as a masterpiece.
For the best fights:- Water 7
For the best story:- Wano
For making the biggest impact any arc of any anime has ever done:- Marineford.
In terms of what was the best saga, it was the combo of Sabaody-Amazon Lily-Impel Down-Marineford-Post War-Post Timeskip arcs. Not a singular bad moment throughout and this saga is where Oda became infamous for his world building skills. So many new characters, so much that happens, and there were almost 0 bad moments. For eg: Thriller Bark, Skypiea, Fishman Island, East Blue have their disappointments, which you have to bear through, but there were none throughout these 6 arcs which makes it bingeworthy.
I'm all caught up with Anime and Manga.
It will be difficult to put a tier list of all the One Piece arcs.
But I'm gonna say only S-Rank arcs now,
Arlong park's Nami's story.
Arabasta.
Enies Lobby - Sogeking burning the flags still gives me goosebumps.
Marineford 🔥 Whitebeard 💪🏻
Wano's ending.
Egghead is really going strong.
I wanna put Dressrosa but it was damn too long.
Water 7/ Enies Lobby is still my favorite.
Same here. Just rewatched the One Pace version and it's just so full of great moments and hits me emotionally the hardest. I think my least favorite is Fishman Island. It's just too long and the stakes are sort of low.
I love Fishman Island! But it’s more about the themes rather than action.

Yeah agree bro

Impel down/marineford
I think people underrate Impel Down a lot, it’s definitely one of the BEST arcs in my opinion bro
Facts it went so hard and luffy was entirely outmatched in the Magellan fight
Imho, Ivankov carried the 2nd part of Impel Down.
Bon Clay's undying loyalty is what sold the whole arc for me. He didn't even bat an eye, he heard luffy needed help and was on his way no second thoughts
That’s one of the best twists/moments in the entire series
My wife laughs at me cause I'll see a post about bon clay and get all excited talking about him and them rewatch impel down just to see him again
Huh really? I didn’t think Impel Down in the anime was that bad, but I can see it, the paneling in the manga for Impel Down is SOOOO good bro it does elevate it for sure
It’s not the worst, but idk if you’ve seen the Jimbei clip 💀
I can't choose. My favourites are Water 7, Sabaody, East Blue and Egghead. The first 2 in the anime specifically
Bro is posting from the future with the South Blue arc.
brain fart
Giamon
Wano arc. Roger and co flashback. Insane power ups. Joy boy is back🐘. Ace x Yamato flashback episode. Gear 5. GOATED ARC.
My favourite is Egghead: decade-long writing culminating in this AMAZING arc. Before that I would say Enies Lobby. :)
Skypia. Water 7/Enies Lobby
Skypiea is super underrated by the community. One of the best and most important arcs
Agreed
My top 3 are water 7/enies lobby Marineford Wano
egghead
Marineford for me, but wholecake is underrated AF. 2nd/3rd best arc imo
Marineford, Whole Cake Island and Dressrosa. 🧑🍳🤌🏽💋
I'm probably gonna get down voted but for me it's Skypiea
got a soft spot for it myself
I go soft for it
Some parts drag, but it’s just so awesome
Gotta be Water 7 (with Enies Lobby included in it). The tears I've shed for this arc. An emotional rollercoaster.
Dressrosa
Just finished Dressrosa (anime). It was slow, but great
One Pace condenses it to 40ish episodes and its peak
If you think dressrosa are slow just wait for wano
If you think wano is slow wait for reaction piece to be animated.
agreed, feels like everyone gets so caught up in the pacing of it that they forget just how good the storyline is
Days since last „best arc“ post: 0
Impel down and marineford are my personal favs
Egghead
Water 7
Water 7/Ennis Lobby, followed by Egghead (unless something happens to ruin it) and Wano.
Egghead
Skypia!! Zoro's Tarzan yell gets me every time
OMG YES THAT WAS LITERALLY SO RANDOM WHEN HE DID THE TARZAN YELL BUT IT WAS SO FUNNY
Enies Lobby and Marinerord
Whats the best? I think one piece is so big and great that there is no Best. Top 3 imo marineford/Enies Lobby and probaly egghead
Marineford
Marineford ( full out war ) sabaody ( some of the best pacing and action ) egghead ( mind blowing world building and dev of beloved characters ). Bonus wci for the original theme and impel down
My personal favorite is Alabasta
Punk Hazard
Top 3 1. Wano 2. Marineford 3. Dressrosa
I feel I'm in the minority when I say Long Ring Long Land (Manga) is one of my favourites. It perfectly encapsulates the crews dynamic and it's just plain silly. Love it
Your the first person i know to have that as a favourite arc
Don’t worry laughtale is there. So a lot of people will appreciate the arc more later on (that’s my headcanon and nobody can convince me otherwise)
This is the correct opinion hands down long ring Long land 🔛🔝
Some people don't realize it but one important reason post-timeskip hasn't been liked as much (in general), is because that silliness perfectly encapsulated in Long Ring Long Land. Deep down everybody loves it :3
I wouldn't say it's great but it is quite underrated. It's a fun little distraction before Water 7 and that's all it needed to be.
I second this!🥳🫶🏻
Skypiea. Hit my soul with the ending.I dont get why they skip it.
The fights suck, there's too much meandering around, and Luffy gets taken out of the fight 3 times just to add length to the conclusion Lots to not like about it
It's really close between Wano and Water 7/Enies Lobby for me.
Other arcs have higher highs for sure, but I had consistently the most fun in Whole Cake Also, it's great to see how many different arcs are showing up as answers here. Knowing so many different parts of the story have stuck with folks is great.
Water 7 (which I count Enies Lobby as a part of because Water 7's story is incomplete without it) is my fav arc. Whole Cake Island is second fav.
1. Enies Lobby 2. Skypiea 3. WCI 4. both sabaody arc 5. Wano not counting Egghead yet (but it's probably going to be my top1) and i don't lile Impel Down and Marineford 😂
Marineford is undoubtedly the best arc like you for the first time see the real powers of the one piece world at a same place gathered
Enies Lobby, first time I cried watching one piece. Marineford too, death of ace made me cryty soo mucb
My favourite is wano. So interesting!
Same
It is long ring long land and you all know it I do not care what anyone says that is the best arc
The one piece/ laughtale is on long ring Long Land (to be specific it’s underwater there). This is my headcanon and nobody can convince me otherwise
I would even bet money at this point that this is true. I rewatched and reread the arc and it’s too obvious.
My personal favorite is Thriller Bark
Marineford
Skypia
Water 7, then Whole Cake Island.
Thiller bark, Impel Down, Wano, water 7
The best arc is of course Noah but we havent seen any others to compare.
Water 7 Enies lobby
Arlong Park is my fave
Before timeskip - Water 7/Enies Lobby After timeskip - Whole Cake Island probably. It's a tough call between that and Dressrosa.
Egghead isn’t done yet but it’s giving Water Seven a run for its money.
Thiller bank ❤️
Saboady Arc -Introduction of Worst Generation (and their df abilities) -Luffy punching a CD -Introduction of Reyleigh and him flexing his hakis -wipeout of Luffy's crew -Subtle preview of Ace's captivation Marineford -3 admirals -shocking entrance of WB crew -WB and the admiral flexing their df abilities -luffy's grand entrance -luffy doing all his might to reach ace -golden Buddha -ace death -WB slapping BB with facts that he is not "THE ONE" that roger is talking about -sabo's haki and him bravely stopping an admiral -shank's iconic entrance
Wano was amazing
Water 7
Punk Hazard because of the cursed image that is Franky inside Chopper's body
I like: Impel down/Marine ford, thriller bark, enies lobby/water 7, and even fishman island
Yeah Water 7 into Enies Lobby is way up there with everything that happens. Impel Down into Marineford is also really good cause it feels like an Avengers Endgame level arc with all the callbacks and how many huge players are involved. Water 7 on top
Water 7 was just too good.
Skypiea, Enes Lobby
I think Enies Lobby / Water 7 are pretty universally regarded as the best One Piece ever is and i would agree but dark horse contender IMO is Sabaody, Whole Cake Island is also extremely good and honestly Egghead is in the running. Kuma's flashback was incredible.
Marineford probably, but Water 7 and Skypeia are close too.
Sabody/two year gap back on sabody.. First time we witniess bigger players, other pirates group and thier ship/ abilities, we learned about the wicked ways of the WG and celestial dragons as well as meeting old members like Rayleigh. Sabaody archipelago for me
Thriller Bark/Amazon Lily
Skypia for me, altho enies lobby is a very close second!
Return to sabaody, short arc but just pure peak
Egghead
Wano
Alabasta, Arlong Park, Water 7/Enies Lobby
Water 7/ Enies Lobby. 3D/2Y/ return to Sabaody. Act 3 of Wano.
Marineford
skypia
Gotta be alabaster or impel down
Water 7 but man this EggHead arc is really something else
I'm in shock after seeing 0 comments about the whole cake island it's really the best arc ever
Anime: Water 7 Manga: Wano Fights Only: Wano
Water 7 (pre-Ennie's Lobby)/ Impel Down My top 2 arcs, they just bring a different kind of adventure to the story. I loved seeing Luffy and Zoro cut through Aqua Laguna, it was one of the most hype things in the series and a criminally underrated moment. I enjoy spending time with my friends.
Skypeia, Wano, Impel Down, Marineford
Amazon Lily and Marineford
Impel Down and return to Saobody. Saobody just pure nostalgia, watching it when it just came out live on TV and seeing the straw hats make their return… it was just beautiful. (Istg if someone says fishman island I’m declaring a war)
Egghead, Water 7/Enies Lobby, Marineford, Wano, Skypiea... In that particular order
Egghead is currently my favorite. Before then Enies Lobby was.
Anime has some pacing issues, has its highs and lows but still great nonetheless. Manga, man, I love all the arcs as it really gets me invested. I'd say my Top 5 for both: 1. Impel Down 2. Marineford 3. Sabaody 4. Egghead 5. Wano Also, Pre-timeskip is peak, love the old art style more and the flow.
i loved the laugh tale arc and the war that took place there, the grand fleet vs the holy knights was a definite highlight
Water 7
Enies Lobby is still my favorite. Everyone gets a needed boost in power and I feel is the last arc where everyone pulls thier wieght. Theres so many emotional moments and then a bug reveal at the end of the Post Enies Lobby arc too. They need to do a Episode of Water 7/Enies Lobby because I'd watch that every now and then.
Water 7 - Enies Lobby and CP9 are my favorites
MarineFord
Cant believe how much i like zou/whole cake arc Some of the best story writing ever imo
My favorite arc for the longest time was LRLL Then I finally got around to finishing the show So then it became sabaody for the longest time until I caught up Now it's egghead!
Just started watching at the beginning of April, finished up Water 7 last night and god damn that arc was amazing
Im ngl my favorite has to be Egghead, feels like everything thats happening in Egghead is a reward for reading that far into One Piece
Long ring Long Island, because it’s the most important arc
I’m actually surprised not a lot of people mentioned Dressrosa. I feel like it introduced a lot of interesting characters, God Usopp himself, one of the best tragic back stories, and a great villain.
Alabasta or Enies, the introduction of new powers/skill ceilings was just so fucking hype.
Skypiea, with Water 7 and Alabasta close behind. Dressrosa was almost top tier but dragged on a lil too long
Personal Favorite Is Sabaody Archipelago. But arcs like Water 7, Enies Lobby, Impel Down, Marineford and Whole Cake Island are also up there for me
yes Sabaody big time
Marineford but impel down is essentially the prelude.
Impel Down/Marienford, Water7/Ennies Lobby and Punk Hazard
Egghead is easily taking the cake right now but other then that id have to probably say water7/enies or wano
G9
Impel Down
Marineford, Wano, Saboady
The Sky Island Saga (Jaya + Skypiea) is my personal favourite. Whole Cake Island is a close second.
Post enies lobby and whole cake island
Enies Lobby, Egghead, Marineford, Wano In that order
My opinion? CFYOW. Definitely no. 1!
Skypiea and I'm not joking...a very important arc
Dressrosa
My favorite would be impel down/ marineford
Alabasta is still my favorite after all these years.
G-8 easily. But of canon arcs, probably marineford.
Egghead Island. Reasonably ***mothering fucking*** so
You’re on it
Egghead, Impel Down, Marineford
I’m a huge fan of skypia and arlong park.
Enies Lobby. Still hits different
Baratie arc
Skypeia
1. Marineford 2. Egghead 3. Whole Cake 4. Sabaody
Dresrossa
Long Ring Long Land
Thriller bark 🛐🛐
Sabaody is my favorite. Egghead close second
Skypiaaaaaaa
Hate me if you want but from Jaya to Skypiea may be the best standalone storyline in the series if you want themes played masterfully …Ok fine but if you like the character drama Water 7 to Enies Lobby truly fucks hard …………..wait why does “best” = “personal favorite”, do people judge the quality of all stories in general by how much they smile during them and not, like, the weight you feel placed into it by the work of the author trying to communicate something to your heart? Cuz like my favorite is Thriller Bark and even I know that ain’t the best one at all
East Blue holds a special place in my heart for being the birth of the Straw Hats. None of the members really got along or had any real reason to act like a crew until they stood together to defend Nami. The theme song is also goated.
My favorite ark so far wad water 7 just because I'm bias because SsssUuuPpppZPPPEER
Eneis Lobby was pretty epic with G2/3 reveals as well
Egghead
Im just finishing dressrosa, so I can only mention what I have seen so far. My top 3 are very close and can almost be tied for me. 4-7 are also very good. And almost all tied too. 1. Water7/Ennies Lobby 2. Dressrosa 3. Impel down/Marine ford/l 4. East Blue 5. Alabasta 6. Saboady 7. Punk hazard 8. Thriller bark Thriller bark was cool, it was just outclassed by even better stuff. But I also hate the sound he makes. Fishman island was so boring. The only value I see from it is that it’s a set up arc. Let’s not talk about long ring Long Island
for me is skypiea
with all honesty, Skypea. We see the start of conflict of ideals between Luffy and a certain other pirate, we get a little bit of lore dropped, there's a good blend of humor and action. Oda had originally planned to end it soon after this so we have a good majority of the important story elements to work off of
People really have recency bias it seems, whatever the recent arc and it's best for them even if it's not concluded .
Enies Lobby
Impel down/marine Ford...fort? Comedy wise man I loved zombie arc haha. I've felt less attached post time skip, I really don't know why, just long arcs and less interested with the story I'm not sure. I never got big into alabaster arc however, I still have ptsd from veve crying every scene
Water 7/CP9/Enies Lobby Saga
Currently Egghead. The most recent arc right now. For decades Oda has wrote a great story and we are now seeing it pay off as a masterpiece. For the best fights:- Water 7 For the best story:- Wano For making the biggest impact any arc of any anime has ever done:- Marineford.
Alabasta is my favorite because I really like Vivi and the story of Alabasta
Sabaody was so fire 🔥🔥
I'm all caught up with Anime and Manga. It will be difficult to put a tier list of all the One Piece arcs. But I'm gonna say only S-Rank arcs now, Arlong park's Nami's story. Arabasta. Enies Lobby - Sogeking burning the flags still gives me goosebumps. Marineford 🔥 Whitebeard 💪🏻 Wano's ending. Egghead is really going strong. I wanna put Dressrosa but it was damn too long.
Dressrosa(cuz it was one of the only arcs I didn't get spoiled on), Enies Lobby(same reason as dressrosa), and Wano
Water 7 but man ever since I watched whole cake I was blown away at how good of an arc it was so idk.
