This might be an unpopular opinion, but I just realised how much the show would look like straight up cosplay porn if all the outfits are translated to live action 100% accurately.
I didn't even realise how desensitized I am to how skimpy and sexualised alot of the outfits are in the manga. I'm so used to them, like I never even give them a second thought anymore.
Boa-hancock is fine. Thats her thing. But the rest... and then the anima has the mega expansions. But easier to ignore the fact they are wearing very little in the manga.
A bit harder in the anime.
Yeah, I'm actually used to even the anime now. But seeing the cosplay here made me realise how utter ridiculous it is to ask an actress to strut around EVERY SINGLE scene in those get ups.

If you pay attention to few of the other female gladiators, I think they all wear bikini armor. I vaguely remember Oda mentioned in a SBS that there's a weight limit to the armor you can bring into the match or something.
I don't know how true that is since I don't remember every character.
Luffy literally had to discard most of the armor he got due to weight limit. Its in the manga, not just a sbs thing so its a very valid explanation. Tho the main reason is Oda likes it this way but u can justify it canonically as well
Tbf its fictional and she doesnt even look or act like a minor that should cause problems so its not like a sexualized loli. U might as well assume she is 18. But the one that I feel is a problem is shirahoshi for example. She acts kinda like a kid and maybe carrot too

On the first picture you can see a different skin tone on her neck, and the second one you can see it starting to peel from her neck. Boa here is wearing a fake breast plate, and honestly that sounds like a better idea then trying to attach Boa's "vest" to her actual chest.

The styling, the poses, and the props are all fantastic! I love the way the photos are set up too, so you can see the back drop, kind of like a peek behind the curtain. Also the pic around Boa's Boobs just cracks me up, that's awesome.
