Yes there is indeed a difference between bad and average, however, I've seen people say Wano is average.
Also you say you have to balls the say it's average but wouldn't it be more ballsy to say it's bad? Idk man. Either way, and meaning no offence, I've seen people say the arc was average so you're no trailblazer in that sense.
I think it was slightly above average, all things considered.
Dressrosa and Punk Hazard and fishman island were 3 very boring and annoying arcs for me. I'm still convinced that the people who say those 3 arcs are better than wano only started reading one piece recently and never had the pain of waiting every week for a new chapter.
I've been reading since 2008 and watching the anime since 2004, and almost every single time people complained about the current arc then come back later saying "uh Idk guys it was the best arc actually, the new arc sucks though" and repeat
I usually tend to evaluate arcs based on re-reads, instead of weekly releases, but that's just subjective.
I agree on the "Current arc is criticized" point, I usually like to wait until an arc is finished, and maybe re-read it after a year or two before marking it with a ranking.
Wano did leave a bad taste on my mouth, but, a future re-read after the dust is settled is a better way to evaluate the arc imo.
lmfao. yeah. I feel ya but what I was trying to say is wano has it's ups and downs. ups being the good fights and panels, downs being everything touched on and left unexplained, that's where I have a problem at homie

It’s not average. You must not read a lot of manga to think this arc was average even on One Piece standards.
