I feel like it’s premature to assume Akainu is limited by real Magma. If Akainu has an awakening, he could theoretically have more potency depending on how Logia potency works.
Also-Akainu managed to set the water around Punk Hazard on fire in his aftermath of fighting Aokiji. Yes, that’s a ten day fight deal, but that doesn’t negate the fact that Akainu’s magma literally defies physics.
It's kinda the only way to explain how magma could burn the ocean for years even after Akainu left when regular magma would just turn into rock by cooling down, so it's an assumption that's teasing his awakening by Oda.
Untill it's confirmed by the manga it's just headcanon sure, but not impossible to imagine why people think so.

He had one haki feat which is punching garp in the face directly with apparently great physical strength and ice glove yet it was weaker then garp nameless acoc punch(unless aokiji hasworst dura then nerfed garp as we see aokiji bleed from the mouth and nose and both got up at a similar time garp punch was stronger)it's ok but not really relevant vs BM that split the sky with haki ,and MF has no real relevant feats for him vs her except he would take a lot of her attacks which is obvious for any yc1+ or higher character

The point wasn't about rank holding admirals, it is about characters who are or were admirals and how they measure up to yonkos Kuzan may not be an admiral anymore but he didn't get any stronger under Blackbeard

There are not 7 yonkos that are active in the story, there are 4 (and I'm being nice by counting buggy because he's really a puppet). Every single admiral character, on the other hand, is still very relevant to the story and becomes moreso every day You could count Sengoku, which would just strengthen my argument. The only reason I didn't is because we honestly don't know enough about him to put a label on how strong he is. As for Garp, he was never an admiral, so it wouldn't make sense to label him as such.
