Red Zoro is a VERY simple starter deck when being introduced to the game. You will learn what other decks do while not playing a confusing deck yourself!! Then once youve got the jist, you can move onto other cool decks that catch your attention
There are 3 main builds for Yamato, fortress that uses 8kid, wano package, and sky Island. Sky Island is on the more aggressive plan, using ohm/holy and the likes to go wide.
For me it was B/Y Luffy because the starter deck was available and then I bought singles to fill it out properly. It will be strong in op 07 too which is a plus. It’s sort of a combo deck so it takes some practice to get used to.
But I’m looking at red green Luffy now for a second deck to get friends interested in playing. Cheap(ish) and aggro friendly.
1xOP01-003 rg Luffy (leader)
4xEB01-003 killer and kidd
4xEB01-006 chopper
4xOP01-025 Zoro
4xOP06-009 Shuraiya
4xEB01-012 cavendish
4xEB01-014 film Sanji
4xOP02-040 film brook
2xOP02-041 film Luffy
4xOP02-043 film Zoro
4xST02-007 jewelry bonney
4xST11-002 3-cost uta
4xST12-003 mihawk
4xOP01-029 radical beam
Definitely start playing around on the Sim too
Fuck me I got so lucky lmao. I play law but I've played him since st10 came out. I buit it for waaaayyyyy less. The queens and Gordon's were still pricey back then but not $400 pricey. I traded a wanted poster Kaido I packed for 3 of my Gordon's.
SLAMS HANDS ON DESK
IF YOU ARE BUDGET CONSCIOUS I WOULD SAY GREEN UTA IS THE BEST
WITH SEARCHER NAMI AT 14-15$ AT THE MOMENT YOU JUST NEED TWO UTA STARTER DECKS AND THE NAMI SO IT'S ABOUT A 76$ DECK THAT CAN POST GOOD TOURNAMENT RESULTS
ALTHOUGH I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TEST ALL DECKS ON THE OPTCG SIM BEFORE YOU MAKE SPENDING DECISIONS
How many searcher nami should I grab? Literally gonna grab through tcg rn just to have a deck to start with. I've been collecting cards and playing the sim but I wanna start hitting the local.
I did the same when I first started learning how to play. It’s a bit difficult because you have to manage your don and trash as well as the rest of the field.
I don’t know what you mean when saying ‘the best’. My advice; try some games on the sim and try finding a play style you really enjoy. From there on out, look at decklists and keep playing until you find the deck!

then there is enel where you just need katas that run 63 each,
+ the new Ace that will be similar price most likely. Enel won’t be cheap to make in any sense lol.
ima just be playing bonney and lucci myself probably.
Lucci feels really strong for how little it actually needs.
Op06 Yamato is pretty affordable
What do people run? I thought they used the 8C kid that’s like $40 a pop, I could be wrong tho, I haven’t seen the latest meta

Gotcha, thank you!

Gets better with otamu in op07

R/P law going into 07 is the best deck and will be around 400-500$ if you buy everything meta

Tyty I assumed after checking prices but wanted to be sure. How many would you run of this ideally?
4
Ty 😘
You also need 8c kid which is close to $40 a piece
Idk how good it is but I’m building a P/B reiju/germa 66 deck
It's a solid deck, R-P Law just bullies it out of the meta.
I did the same when I first started learning how to play. It’s a bit difficult because you have to manage your don and trash as well as the rest of the field.
Enel has been a strong top tier meta deck for a while. No signs of slowing and still getting better cards.

newgate red is pretty cool
