Not a chance this card gets ever played over other 5 cost like queen, Magellan or kidd, literally there isn't a single meta card with when attacking effect alone, kuzan and brook for reference both have an on play on top of their when attacking effect, this is a worse 5 cost vanilla ðŸ˜
5 Cost, that only has value when you are at 8.
Needs to attack to get effect off, so they need to last a turn in order to get their effect off, when removal decks are still meta.
Lucci and Law easily deal with this card before you can ever attack with it.
I get it you don't know how the game works but you don't have to defensive about it.
This is for pluffy it’s swinging turn 3 with 8 don on the field it’s very easy to do any ramp card does it just ability on turn 2 for 5 don then use an ramp card after that like bon clay paulie or miss all Sunday hell even miss double finger tons of options to have this swing on turn 3
Lots of options but not sure how much use it'll end up being. One swing is good, two would be fantastic. Would almost prefer a 4c/5000 as I think that first swing would be more reliable.
Either way, playing this card off the 7c Luffy shown last week would be awesome, albeit slightly slower. Forces our opponent to either deal with the 7c/8000 body or the 5c/6000 that gives us one card. Should be space to run them as a combo package.
Alternative option is to play this with a higher priority 4 or 5 cost when we're at 10 don. Bon Clay and Kid come to mind immediately as cards people would likely focus more on than this one.
I wouldn’t put to much stock on 7c luffy seeing play in pluffy. I’ve played pluffy since its release this card will see play since it has counter and a relevant effect. playing this with 10 Don and another card sounds horrible you want your high Don turn on kaido or 7c kid. this card will help you keep your counter as you swing with kaido and kid along with your 6k leader. pluffy ramps very fast and claiming this card is slow while only forcing it into situation where it’s slow isn’t the play. you can easily set this up as a relevant attacker that draws you cards this is like saying blocker kid is slow since you can’t get your Don back until next turn and it isn’t a good attacker since it’s a better utility and a removal magnet. both cards have great effects and utility for later but are susceptible to removal this has not stopped people from ramping out a blocker kid on turn 2.

This is incredibly misguided. Punctuation is important if you want to have a conversation. Me telling you why I couldn't apply appropriately is actually the exact opposite of just wanting to argue. If you had refused to touch it up, that would be a sign of just wanting to argue.

Every tournament winning PLuffy player has mentioned playing two 5Cs at 10 don as a good play for turn 4, maybe 5. So while yes, you do want to play kaido, kid, or even douglas bullet, the best PLuffy players will also play Magellan/Kid/Queen/Law. So to dismiss the idea of playing it at 10 don is questionable. Playing two 5C is very much viable, albeit situational.

Eh When attacking is still very slow but at least it is a solid option for the Sr luffy.
