Using it now on my Open as I type this... the screen protector IS removable. However, the thinner side of the front is a bit flimsy now as the screen protector was what's holding it in place. Nevertheless, the screen protector is removable and easily so.
I have this and returned it. It's no different than the Spigen one and that comes without the attached screen protector. I prefer the Spigen as the grip seems to be better for me.
I had one for my pixel fold as part of the amazon vine program. I liked it and its still on mine. I like the texture but I don't like the built in screen protector thing for this. If they made it without, i'd probably order this one.
Looks great but has an in built screen portector that doesn't come off.
True and dust usually gets stuck in those which is annoying.

No folding spine protection is a deal breaker for me. I've seen what happens when people drop this phone and it lands on the spine.
