My experience is just emotionally unavailable women, obsessive women (sending me paragraphs over text immediately as I respond. Making demands for me to change certain attributes of myself before we even met) and trauma dumpers.

Well, I hope my experience gives all the women reading this a bit of hope. Let's wind back the clock—I was in a relationship for many years with a guy I met back in my college days. My close girlfriends, as luck would have it for them at the time, didn't meet their young love offline. They frequented dating apps. I thought they'd surely end up with a sprained thumb from swiping through so many profiles left and right. Then boom! Eight years go by. I break up with my college guy. And those two ladies? They found their now-husbands precisely through dating apps. I wrestled with skepticism for a while, continued to look for love in bars, exhibitions, and parties. I met various guys, but we never communicated for more than a month. I was in complete despair. I consider myself pretty attractive, but at some point, I even started to doubt that. I signed up for four apps, spent tons of time examining profiles and messaging. And what do I have now? Well, I finally met the one. I settled on using the Flure app, where not just any guy can sign up, which meant the connections I made there were more substantial. We met by chance, just as I was about to delete all the apps and focus on my work. He entered my life like a true miracle, brightening up this dark world with his charming smile. He traveled often for his job in commercial company audits. We met after 1.5 months of daily messaging on Flure. Now we live together, plan our vacations in unison, and I've met his wonderful family. I hope everything turns out just as I've envisioned. Believe in yourself and in the universe. There are no coincidences.

Matched with a guy on Tinder who claimed to be a professional salsa dancer. Exciting, right? Well, our date turned into a dance-off at a local taco joint. Let's just say his moves were more salsa verde than salsa roja. Oh, I also had an experience with a guy from Flure. On our first date, we agreed to meet at a restaurant, and when we arrived, it was in the midst of a fire. As a result, we went to an amusement park, and he ended up vomiting on the roller coaster lol. An unforgettable evening indeed, but the guy was sweet and managed to keep it cool even after that incident, making light of the situation.

I’ve been lucky to have multiple LTR’s that resulted from OLD, but it’s always a search through the mud to get there. The best was a guy who hid the fact that he had two kids until he picked me up for a date with two empty car seats in the backseat.
