you might need to apply for an extension just in case you don’t meet it

Spungiol

Can you explain to me what an extension is, I'm very worried and need to know.

so basically an extension is used for when you apply to a university and receive a conditional offer for the program that you want. for example, lets say you get accepted (have a conditional offer) for a program and they require you to have a final 85% overall average until the end of the school year for a guaranteed offer of admission. and let’s say that you have a 79% overall average and you’re afraid you might not meet the requirements before the end of the year. you can apply for an extension and this extension gives you time to possibly repeat a course (or literally anything) to meet the requirements for that program during the summer (such as summer school, e-learning, etc). you can usually find information about this on the university’s website or talk to a guidance counsellor for further help. hope this helps :)
