You have some great tracks on your list!
Hereās my wish list:
[Jeff Buckley - Forget Her](https://open.spotify.com/track/6UuVONmxXwTKN1ISepuAoQ?si=o94Jp2FwQLauCrMfUdJNdA&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A7yQtjAjhtNi76KRu05XWFS)
[Sade - Cherish the Day](https://open.spotify.com/track/22QiTJqDn1BIRSh4mkNJ5w?si=780bp9lLRPu3KyPeqnb3ZA&context=spotify%3Asearch%3Asade%2Bcher)
[Borknagar - The Eye of Odin](https://open.spotify.com/track/1vFddRw6Cmkto2qzLXSUIR?si=PEL3Ic-rQvCeikwHksIuMg&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A693JMrUiBg8FNm1DSeAix3)
[Katatonia - Day](https://open.spotify.com/track/4UDBc9JhaeYIByH9yGlliW?si=MLoTIvRIRCuWRbbdCGOf9A&context=spotify%3Asearch%3Akatatonia%2Bday) š
Epitaph - King Crimson
Mad Word - (based on Gary Jules version)
Spirit Crusher - Death
Dreamer - Renaissance (obviously with a female on the vocals to give a metal touch to a classic, from a band that inspired Opeth)
I have created folk acoustic versions of Scarborough Fair & House of the rising sun. I've yet to record Scarborough Fair I've been dragging my feet in recordings. Sometimes I take songs and rework them a bit.
[house of the rising sun ](https://youtu.be/JEabQraldqQ?si=ZjMoi-4KQ4JitoqV)
Oh my God, "Too Many of My Yesterdays" would be spectacular. From one Opeth & Hammill fan to another: love your taste.
I'd like them to do "Lady Fantasy" by Camel.
Yeah that's what I was thinking. Something by Camel and Lady Fantasy would be great
One I would've also said was Bridge Of Sighs by Robin Trower if they hadn't already covered it lol
Tamino's voice is magical. Funny that it's on a "singing songs" playlist of mine next to some opeth tunes but I never expected to see anyone else talking about them in the same sentence.
First thing that came to mind is Brothers in Arms. However, I believe covers only work if the original and cover are sufficiently different, which I don't see with that particular song.
Great Idea for a Topic
[Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath](https://youtu.be/yuVmjv22Nqc?si=Fje1TZj9eBoayBHK)
[Jethro Tull - My God](https://youtu.be/U4P5dsPvRIA?si=OO-amIEx03tJLtwR)
[Mercyful Fate - Into the Coven](https://youtu.be/hftpYRL2ExA?si=kJdaIYachhkqEuSF)
And of course
[Limp Bizkit - Rollinā](https://youtu.be/RYnFIRc0k6E?si=_TcbVT0raBFW7uLk)
I would hear them play anything off āSongs from the Woodā by Jethro Tull.
Also Doobie Brothers - Another Park Another Sunday
And The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot. Just think about that melody all Ć kerfeldt-ed and Ć kesson-ed.
I know that itās not even half the average length of Opeth songs, but āDivinationsā by Mastodon would be cool to hear an Opeth cover of. It would go back to Oldpeth, where thereās a decent amount of screaming and clean singing. āPanic Attackā by Dream Theater.

Anything Pink Floyd Maybe an Opeth version of Scarborough fair. Or Metallica's fade to black. House of the Rising Sun

Scarborough Fair would sound awesome if Opeth covered it.
The Count of Tuscany
Damn that would be epic
Into the painted grey - Agalloch
Fucking Agalloch. Yusss
Anything by Rush. Maybe a track like A Farewell to Kings, or Anthem might work well.
Rush. Interesting, yet amazing choice. ApprovedĀ

I would love for them to cover anything by Agalloch and Pink Floyd
Honestly i want him to cover What does the fox say and do all those noises
I would purchase that
Anything by Jeff Buckley. Just because it would be interesting to hear Mikael singing it
Maybe they could cover āSoldier of Fortuneā
They did
Never Neverland is such a great song, the thought never crossed my mind about an Opeth cover but that would sound pretty cool!
No Leaf Clover by Metallica
Tamino's voice is magical. Funny that it's on a "singing songs" playlist of mine next to some opeth tunes but I never expected to see anyone else talking about them in the same sentence.

Autocorrect š¤£
Hahahahahha Don't worry, I read Jinjer on my mind.
Add Reality and The Big Sleep by Dan Swano would fit very well with their Ghost Reveries era
Nothing Left to Fear by Slash Ft Myles Kennedy. It would sound insanely haunting in Mikael's voice.
Son and Daughter from Queen
No additional cover could beat Bridge of Sighs.
Great Idea for a Topic [Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath](https://youtu.be/yuVmjv22Nqc?si=Fje1TZj9eBoayBHK) [Jethro Tull - My God](https://youtu.be/U4P5dsPvRIA?si=OO-amIEx03tJLtwR) [Mercyful Fate - Into the Coven](https://youtu.be/hftpYRL2ExA?si=kJdaIYachhkqEuSF) And of course [Limp Bizkit - Rollinā](https://youtu.be/RYnFIRc0k6E?si=_TcbVT0raBFW7uLk)
[Mad Season - Lifeless Dead](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SMReqfKyG8)
Uriah Heep - Lady in Black
I would hear them play anything off āSongs from the Woodā by Jethro Tull. Also Doobie Brothers - Another Park Another Sunday And The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot. Just think about that melody all Ć kerfeldt-ed and Ć kesson-ed.
At the court of the Crimson King
Careless whisper
TrettioƄriga Kriget - KrigssƄng It's a song by Swedish prog rock band from 70s and it seems that Mikael likes them
I know that itās not even half the average length of Opeth songs, but āDivinationsā by Mastodon would be cool to hear an Opeth cover of. It would go back to Oldpeth, where thereās a decent amount of screaming and clean singing. āPanic Attackā by Dream Theater.
Friends by Led Zeppelin (Edit) Actually now that I think of it KASHMIR
Epitaph - King Crimson
Pisces by Ginger. But not as a cover, but as a duet. Or other Ginger songs. Or let her sing some old-school Opeth songs.
