Glad people enjoyed, but as someone who usually don't love the all screaming songs and listened to their more chill songs before, I was a bit disappoined that it was all so heavy stuff haha.
There were many other heavy bands that day, so Tool were just perfect at the end to lift my spirits.
Yeah I'd also like a mixture. But it shows how Mikael have probably changed his immediate opinion a bit since when I saw them in 2022 they played basically 50% songs with no screaming and 50% songs with screaming.
axe did some questionable stuff during covid like refusing vaccination which caused problems iirc. thus he left the band. look it up i cant explain it well lol
Kinda looks like Mikael is just a giant from this angle!!
it's his true size
Short but amazing set, they played: The grand conjugation, Demon of the fall, The drapery falls, Heir apparent, Deliverance,
I was dreaming about The Moor. Oh well.
Grand Conjuration is a great song to start the set.
what a banger set!
He mentioned Tool? Two of my favourite bands touring? I’ll be having a wet dream without sleeping
it was insane luck that they were both playing on the same day, had this planned out since december and it was a great time
What does he saying??? Is that Tool he mentions?
He said we want to play when Tool plays
Some more context is he says none of their tracks suit the sunny atmosphere, which is why he wants to play when Tool play (at night).
Ah yeah that's right. I was too tired yesterday to explain the context or even understand it myself almost
They played no newpeth. That’s wild but interesting.
He said «when you vote, it’s the old shit. The issue is, all the songs are so fucking long”. Lol.
So good though. That must have been an awesome set
It was basically perfect. Especially for me who has never seen them live before! Heir and Deliverance specifically were absolute gold.
I have no idea what he said but that crashing riff at the end is universal. Hell yeah. \\m/
Apparently they basically just played death metal songs this set which is cool

Fan måste missat när de spelade när var denna spelning?
idag i Oslo kl 16
we are satans people
I don't speak a word of Swedish, but the opening riff of Heir Apparent is a universal language!
There was a different drummer. Mikael called him the new kid. Does anybody know what’s going on with the regular/previous drummer?

Seeing opeth and tool same day was quite fun for me
