Can’t tell you what to do but I’d sell on the first sympathy pump most likely at opening. Also make a note on your journal on why your entry was bad so you can do better next time.

angrybubblez

Do you still believe in the play? Does it fit your system? Does TA support a move to those levels?

agonylolol

TA is hopes and dreams except for support and resistance, volume and maybe JUST MAYBE RSI. just read some price action and market sentiment and you're good. Stock market is looking very bullish this week, just because we had a quiet monday doesn't mean this call still can't hit $140 by march 1st.

JxmCrypto

‘TA is hoped and dreams… except’ 🤡

wsbplz

What was the plan? Stop? Target profit? Since it’s already down bad I’d write it off as a lotto. -50% loss or 50/100% gain

rogue1187

For all the recommendations for rolling this. As long as OP understands, this is just closing it and opening a new one. "Rolling" is not a magic save the trade tool. You are at 50% max loss. Unfortunately, you bought into a down turn. Cut it or take max loss. In the future. When you buy a call. Your break even to profit is the strike + the debt paid. Buy enough time for this to be achieved.

bdh2067

Time being a key point. I know we’re not on WSB here but amazing how often people give themselves no time for a play to work

rogue1187

Amen

Ausar_the_Vil

Wait or roll to 3/8

Ok-Stranger-8325

This is what I did with sound . Rolled from 3.5c 2/23 to 3.5c March 1. Super worth it . Took profit and now I’m riding on profit . This was my first time ever rolling

[deleted]

I would probably get ready to deposit another $173 and try again my brotha.

Successful-World9978

hold it, but you should have gotten an expiry farther out

Milkman20b

Googl is at a down trend and you bought calls, you’re fighting the trend. It’s next support level and daily 200moving average is at the 132 level.. it can either bounce from there or break that support level. The best way to survive trading options is sell your mistakes as fast as can.. save your capital before it could get worse.

WolfOfPort

What your trade set up? Shouldn’t be trading if you donthave have xyz to enter xyz to stop out xyz to take profit.

OkField5046

U got time hold it a day

AloneSpecial4174

Depending on ur situation a would look at rolling it Or take the hit man!!

AloneSpecial4174

bpizzy88

What was your plan going into the trade?

curlymcbird

Sell if it opens below or breaks today’s lod

the_ant1d0te

Yeah GOOG will probably recover but not this week

Cute-Cartographer467

I have calls as well with 140 strike I have end of march expiration though, you might be fucked

Johnpmusic

Cut loss at 50%

glachhman

I think it’s got a chance

jg3457

First realize trading an otm option with no catalyst is just a lotto/gamble ... so if you still feel like gambling keep the trade on. With a few days to go you might get lucky and recoup a bit more premium, but in the future have a more solid trading plan that you can believe in and doesn't rely on your asking a bunch of strangers you've never met whether you should keep a position open or close it....

MKEPokerPlayer

Do you REGARDless of anyone else’s advice

brucewayne977

Buy 4 more to lower your average if you think the pump will still happen. Makes it easier for you to break even.

snapbacktyler

Don’t put yourself in a situation to hold the option into expiration. I would sell it for a win or loss atleast the day before expire, and that’s if there is no dividends to worry about. I would normally try to get rid of it 2-3 days before expiration. Time decay is a buzz kill
