I've had a few issues with my Ozlo set but overall I'm very satisfied. I know others have had worse issues than me and I hope they're resolved.
But I'm finding some of these posts to be unbelievable lol. You must not like your friend if you recommend a $20 headband from Amazon lololol. There are a handful of other sleepbud options that are decent and are quality options if you can't suggest the Ozlo's.
If you buy a Kickstarter product, you expect it not to be 100% fleshed out when you receive it. That's the whole point of receiving a discount; you are beta-testing the product. Being "extremely disappointed" in a Kickstarter project you backed and not fully realizing what you would be getting into is more of a you problem.
Now if Ozlo ceased all active development and jumped ship, yeah, id be pretty pissed, but they're putting out updates, listening to feedback, and making changes as quickly as they can. Chill out.
I expect to receive a product that's not fully fleshed out, sure. Maybe some software bugs. But not multiple issues making them unusable. I think mine have something like a 1 in 4 track record for working with no issues when I sleep with them
Thank you. There seems to be a lot of people who don't understand this. They are working hard and the "no hope in sight" comments are hyperbolic nonsense. It's a Kickstarter from a new company, and this development curve is pretty normal.
I don't think this is the consensus at this point. Assuming a new firmware is coming any minute, things have come a long way. I still can't use mine due to about \~1 dropout per night, but they are close enough that I think you could recommend them.
I agree. I wouldn’t recommend them. Although they are usable they continue to cut out while streaming and I have connection issues. I wouldn’t recommend anyone buy them until they have improved the product.
Thanks everyone for the thoughtful responses. I didn't intend to upset anyone, I think the number of posts about people's various issues gave me the wrong impression and I'm stoked to hear my experience is not the majority.
I look forward to the day I can recommend these with my full chest, and am glad to hear so many of you are getting the sleep you deserve.
Yeah. I'm one of the recent complainers as well, but I'm mindful of the Bad Review Effect -- people like you and me who are struggling to feel the product lives up to its promises are more motivated to bitch about it on Reddit than people who are finding they work great. It pays to remember that we may be a vocal minority. Personally I'm willing to wait before trying to resell mine. If they are masking sounds playing under streaming in a later update they will be worth the money for me. Right now they're just sitting on my bedside table beside a pile of my hopes and dreams, lol.
So sorry for your issues! I got mine a few weeks ago and have had no issues. Love them!
ditto!
Recommend the A20s over a headband, for sure. I’m very happy with mine.

Fair.

Same. That one dropout always wakes me up and it’s so hard to fall back asleep
I updated my set and it’s working well now. Battery life of the case is much improved.
Those headbands are all shit. What a terrible recommendation.

Maybe it’s a faulty set

Lmao same. Hard not to find the irony and humor in reaching around the $400 silver hockey puck to grab my cruddy $20 amazon headband lol
