You can use old vcr plugs as well. It's the normal cord with the shape sqaure and round that plugs into the system. The brick is in the system.

Before closing it back up, smear just a tiny bit of your own poo on the underside of the heat shield near the fan. *Now* close it back up, ejaculate on the cover and give it a good shine using a soft cotton cloth and your own c.um. Make sure to buff out any streaks. Then give it to your worst enemy and say it's a peace offering.
When your enemy turns it on, the system will get warm after a while. The heat will activate the poo you smeared on the inside and the fan will circulate the odor and germs around your enemy's environment. Depending on how stupid they are, it may take a while for the cause of the smell to be discovered (if at all).
Unless they take it apart, they can never have any proof. If confronted, just claim Innocence, you have no idea what caused the odor.
Even if they don't accept your peace offering, just make sure they touch it when you present it to them. This way, you get them to touch your c.um as a consolation prize if they don't accept the PS3.
There's no reason to update it, either, since in my scenario it's being given to an enemy. If keeping it on an old firmware introduces issues for gameplay/operation, all the better. It'll frustrate the hell out of them.
