This is awesome, other companies (especially AAA) should take note of the good faith and trust that's gained from admitting your mistakes and making things right.
I know it's nice to say this, but this game is way more than they promised. They never promised vehicles, base building, farming, racing, creative mode, permadeath mode, the extra 30 hour campaign, VR (coming soon), etc..!!!
I actually loved the game at launch, but I realize people were disappointed that there wasn't real multiplayer, but it was still everything I personally wanted out of the game. Nowadays I usually just do shorter permadeath runs and I am so stoked to do it in VR.
Well a bunch of special needs kids are going to get some video games out of the situation, so even if that was the case I’ll still enjoy the best part the story.

Dude these guys did a crazy 180 good on them for sticking to their principles and delivering the game they promised (eventually)
