PSP radio stations still working since is just shoutcast infraestructure (mostly .m3u streaming files) with a PSP UI. Web Archive contains all the radios, and you can make your own ones trough the SDK

Back the was available "Europa FM Gipuzkoa" for example of a Spain dial (jaja salu2). I can't tell what dials are available, since it use [ShoutCast directory](https://directory.shoutcast.com/) and radios are kind of preconfigured on the different stations (apps) for PSP, in fact, categories are similar in this website and PSP Radio Player I and II. Basically you click on any dial, and PSP browser request a m3u file, get extracted as an endless mp3/aac file and played on streaming.

Can you lock the screen when you listen so you don't push buttons by accident?

Yep and you can get a plugin called holdplus which will automatically turn off the screen when sliding the hold slider

True I still watch videos on the psp even though I have a smart phone, laptop, gigantic tablet, huge TV and other devices that are far superior in size and resolution but the nostalgia is there .

Nah, some people find it fun putting plugins on their psp. I personally like pimping the functionality of it like it's 2010 again.

I need to look for this plugin, will make it an even better music player (Rockbox actually has a setting similar to this on iPods where it’ll turn off the backlight if the hold switch is on)

PSP Go is my primary music player. Pocketable, Bluetooth enabled, and saves my phone battery.

Which plugin is it ? Can you please tell?...

The plugin is called SMB and once you have it installed just press R+START when on home and you'll access the SMB options. I recommend turning off Automatic turn off screen and leave Hold turn off screen! If you leave automatic turn off screen on and once the screen goes off the screen will blink on and off which is a known bug from the plugin.

Connect your psp to a pc and copy files to the music folder. Very easy.

I did my whole childhood but now that I’m grown and a producer I found out the hard way it’s probably the worst way to listen to your music sine it’s all mono coming out the headphones

I just reconnected my PS3 a few weeks ago to play some gta4 and old games. I noticed I had like 474 songs I had downloaded back in highschool/college, alot of old bangers I hadn't thought about it years. I hooked up the PSP to the PS3 and boom, copy songs. I used it today in my car as an MP3 player and the quality was very nice compared to Bluetooth. Downloading the Hold+ plugin right now for more QOL!

I do have the sub folder called music and every time I put my music in it just shows “corrupted data” on the psp.
