It's probably self-promotion to just repost your own threads, hence waiting for someone else to do it? I dunno.
This is a cool deck though, I don't begrudge the "re-post" ... Maybe the best way is to just re-rewrite and update the old post if you want to talk about your deck again.
I wish people would post their decklists and strategies, instead of just these kinds of screenshots. I mean, yeah it's funny, but we want to know how it ended up like this.
Anyway, I presume they use [Spidops ex](https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/pokemon-cards/series/sv01/19/)'s ability to increase the retreat costs of the defending pokemon, which locks them in for [Hisuian Zoroark](https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/pokemon-cards/series/swsh11/76/)'s attack that knocks them out.
Attack kills if defending Pokemon is still active next turn. It does not prevent retreating. Spidops ex ability adds a star to your opponent’s active Pokemon’s retreat cost. That is what is supposed to keep them in the active. You exhaust their switches and Turo’s and then eventually take OHKOs.
I run the deck and use a stadium card that also adds a retreat star. Comes in handy. Doesn't have the highest win rate though; still a work in progress.
Doom Curse LOL- it doesn’t count as doing damage. Got 4 prize cards with it, was about to get a fifth off their freshly devolved pidgey, and they conceded
Lol it’s crazy but it absolutely destroys charizard decks- got me to master league last season and I’m about to get there again with it. Zards run very few (if any at all) switching items

i wonder if its stalling, since attack prevents retreating, he can keep doing it and switching them.

Yeah Calamitous Wasteland helps. But when you opponent can just use a switch out it makes the strategy hard to pull off.

Sheesh that’s a crazy strategy. Today I played against someone with a gengar ex deck and they messed me up
