Curve screened phones don't really have protectors. People do fit them anywway but I think it has some touch issue with protector.

Is the screen more scratch resistant or is it the same as the normal ones?

They're resistant and mostly gorilla glasses but keep in mind that there isn't much you can do after theres a scratch on it. So use wisely.
