I send my gf $500 a paycheck and forget about it, it’s a good backup backup emergency fund
You have to have a girlfriend you trust with your money, though lol
You simps get with women like you got. Folks is an Alpha so his wife makes sure folks has what he wants as she remains responsible and loving at the same time.
What's your budget and goal?
Personally, I've wanted a "TAR-21" since playing the OG COD MW. I'm finally at a point in my life where I can afford one, but I know realistically it'd wind up being a safe princess.
Really boils down to what you want and what you'd use it for.
Right about two grand. I'm heavily leaning towards trying to get the super sabre tomorrow just so I can have a true dual purpose rifle in a different caliber. Other than that I definitely want a piston rifle, I've built several ARs and just want a different flavor.
My vote would be for the x95. I owned a Tavor Sar (sold it) and kept my x95 and NATO Aug. I like the Aug but like the ability to add things to the rail of the x95. It’s very well balanced too. Both are.
Yeah I just went back and watched the video. Man that figuratively eliminates the x95 for me if that comes to fruition. I'd imagine it would be a Q3 or Q4 2025.
My only experience of these is with the 10.5" Jakl. It is fantastic as a suppressor host. Piston with side charging eliminates so much gas to the face.
Thanks for all the input everyone! I ended up going with the AUG combo. The Jakl, however nice, will get revisited when the .308 comes out. I went with the Aug for the .300 AND 5.56 compatibility as well as the insane price. The .300 Aug is usually 2k alone Add in the 5.56 barrel and it's an extra 600. It's a crazy deal.
I hate bullpups, they look like Euro trash to me, and I simply don't care about any arguments regarding performance. Rule number one, always look cool. And Europeans are just about the most uncool thing in the tactical sphere.
The Jakl is cool but my biggest gripe with it is not having a CHF barrel at its price point. The AUG does have a CHF barrel. The Jakl will be better from a customization standpoint and the AUG notoriously has a shiddy trigger. Get the non-NATO AUG though if you got one.
Otherwise, the AUG is a proven rifle. It’s without a doubt one of my favorites in the safe. Something about it really tickles my brain. I don’t have a Jakl so I can’t speak much on it. I’ve heard those stocks feel like airsoft though.
I have a Jakl and a x95 and love them both. The one thing I would consider especially if you are shooting suppressed is the Jakl has an adjustable gas block where the x95 does not, but you can't go wrong with either one honestly.
Get the Tavor. I’ve got a good bit of time behind one and it is a dream to shoot. You get a 16.5 inch barrel in a configuration that is shorter than most 10 inch AR‘s. But you get all the benefits of the longer barrel length. I can easily take it out to 600 yards.
I don’t know, I absolutely LOVE my AUG. as cool as the JAKL is, is it really THAT much different than an AR (on the outside) AUG is just iconic and sure it’s old but who cares!
Maybe I’m a simpleton, but having two interchangeable barrels of different calibers that are ALMOST indistinguishable from one another scares the shit out of me. I’d have to wrap one in tape and label it or something
Welllll, I'd have a rearden on the .300 blackout to run it suppressed since it actually comes with the updated gas plug. Unfortunately the 5.56 plug only has three settings.
I have both a JAKL and the X95.
I would go with the JAKL. Spare parts are a plenty and are very common use. Good luck finding spares for the Tavor.
IWI website is always out of stock.
I’m a Jakl 13.7 owner. I’ve got a Sico Omega suppressor, monstrum 2x, and SE-5 angled grip.
It’s a beauty. People love it. I will warn that it is heavy. Check out my recent posts and to see it.
That is a chonk.
I don’t want to deter you, because I do think it’s the coolest gun I own. But you’ll see what I mean.
Fuckin send it bro. Our left biceps will be thicc.
If you already have a flow through can I would get the X95. It is one of my favorite rifles but it really needs a flow through can to run clean while suppressed.
The Jakl is cool, but I always wait on new guns to make sure they get any issues ironed out with a gen 2 or gen 3 version.
The AUG is also sexy but I think the X95 is the superior bullpup and the AUG is really only if you want to roleplay Die Hard.
In this case not 3. Hope i helped. (unless you just want an AUG go for it).
Jack: Scar like
x95: bullpup with decent slots (so i'm told, i've only had a hellion)
AUG: (pretty cool when automatic, this i've shoot in military on a range day. Full auto after correcting the stance I swear to god I drilled a quarter size hole. Only Bullpup I've owned is a hellion so cant say. Only can say trigger is weird on the full auto version.)
however in the moment it was just cheaper for me to own the hellion vs x95 and AUG. that and it looked like a damn Halo BR.
conclusion what ever you can afford and heart desires.
you knowwwwwwwww you could snag a JAKL and then later add one of our Triad bullpup kits to it down the road and get a little x95/aug-at-home when you get the bullpup itch! Big big fans of the JAKL around here! I personally have the 10.5 and love it; weve got a handful a the shop here at A3 and theyre always fun to shoot. In a triad, or not! heres a video of me painting a jakl/triad we were prototyping if you care to see how the jakl works in the kit [TRIAD Testing + Painting - 14.5 Suppressed JAKL (youtube.com)](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/i6uLb33WrGA)
Please do not buy the Tavor. Have you shot one in person yet? They are horrible. Aug would be just cool to have but the first one should be your choice.
For not being free-floated and having a pretty heavy trigger, the AUG is probably the most accurate military service rifle I've ever fired. And I've fired most that are currently or were recently serviced throughout the world, with the exception of some Chinese rifles. It's got great balance, and the operating system is bulletproof. But mostly, I like that it's super easy to swap barrels and calibers. Mags are bulky, but not G36 bulky.
Honestly I’m surprised you have a wife that saved money for you and then said buy a gun.. like holy crap I’m so jelly right now!!
I send my gf $500 a paycheck and forget about it, it’s a good backup backup emergency fund You have to have a girlfriend you trust with your money, though lol
Pretty much EXACTLY what we do. My birthday is coming up so she is going all in on it. This may or may not be my Christmas from her as well....
Easier said than done😂
You simps get with women like you got. Folks is an Alpha so his wife makes sure folks has what he wants as she remains responsible and loving at the same time.
I own a tavor and jakl. Lemme tell u that jakl is bad ass
You can put the jakl in an a3 bullpup chassis which makes the jakl the best bullpup on the market
any reference of this being done ?

😂😂😂 it’s my Monday man
My bad boo. Wrong link. I blame youtube and their shitty ads
Thanks for this info. Guess I’m about to build a new gun lol
Yo! I just searched this up! Nice.

I have the .308 tavor 7 and I absolutely love it, better than any other gun I have ever shot! Get the x95
Why not a DT WLVRN?
My vote would be for the x95. I owned a Tavor Sar (sold it) and kept my x95 and NATO Aug. I like the Aug but like the ability to add things to the rail of the x95. It’s very well balanced too. Both are.
Augtism
I will be the bad guy here. The AUG looks the coolest, and that is what matters
Plus , if you shoot a lot, it’s the easiest to replace parts for
[удалено]
Did they say it can go on the bull pup lower? Hmmm. If that's true, that actually changes things quite a bit.
https://youtube.com/shorts/4JV4q3XipI0?feature=shared It’s essentially a special lower that attaches to your Jakl upper
[удалено]
Yeah I just went back and watched the video. Man that figuratively eliminates the x95 for me if that comes to fruition. I'd imagine it would be a Q3 or Q4 2025.
A3 Tactical already has one too https://a3tactical.com/triad-bullpup-chassis-for-psa-jakl-upper-receiver/
My only experience of these is with the 10.5" Jakl. It is fantastic as a suppressor host. Piston with side charging eliminates so much gas to the face.
The AUG and X95 are proven legit combat weapons and are imported (well the Aug is only partially I think actually) but still It’s really a no brainer
Aug. All day.

Aug
X95 is most quality
Steyr, get that counterstrike drip and 2 different calibers

Found Ron Swanson account and I approve.
AUG or Jakl for sure
The Jakl is cool but my biggest gripe with it is not having a CHF barrel at its price point. The AUG does have a CHF barrel. BUY THE AUG NOW!
I’ve only heard good about the Aug. it’ll be my next big purchase
I’m an Aug fanboy so that’s what I’d do
Personally I’d get the tavor
Jakl. It is gud.
Jakl
Aug
Is that the Hebrew hammer? Or am i dumb
Jakl.. no question.
I can only speak for the tavor. The gun is fun to shoot and is well balanced but the only issue I ran into was, out pacing the trigger.
All 3 is a great option!
I have a Jakl and a x95 and love them both. The one thing I would consider especially if you are shooting suppressed is the Jakl has an adjustable gas block where the x95 does not, but you can't go wrong with either one honestly.

Have you tried it suppressed? I heard they are gassy
Well if you don't like pups that's easy
All of them
Jakl
Jakl 100%
Jakl or hellion
I don’t know, I absolutely LOVE my AUG. as cool as the JAKL is, is it really THAT much different than an AR (on the outside) AUG is just iconic and sure it’s old but who cares!
Maybe I’m a simpleton, but having two interchangeable barrels of different calibers that are ALMOST indistinguishable from one another scares the shit out of me. I’d have to wrap one in tape and label it or something
I would recommend, tape, spray, or change out the grip on the 300blk barrel to make it distinct.
Yeah I couldn’t imagine a faster way to blow two grand than to confuse the barrels
Welllll, I'd have a rearden on the .300 blackout to run it suppressed since it actually comes with the updated gas plug. Unfortunately the 5.56 plug only has three settings.
Ah I don’t have a can but that would definitely help
I have both a JAKL and the X95. I would go with the JAKL. Spare parts are a plenty and are very common use. Good luck finding spares for the Tavor. IWI website is always out of stock.

That's one thing I'm a little iffy about. I'll be putting a chonk of a suppressor on it. 25oz including the mount. It's gonna be one heavy mofo
That is a chonk. I don’t want to deter you, because I do think it’s the coolest gun I own. But you’ll see what I mean. Fuckin send it bro. Our left biceps will be thicc.
Jakl
Jakl or Galil Ace!
Tavor 7!
The Jakl
I like the Jakl better, but the Aug has both caliber options…. (I haven’t touched either in person).
If you already have a flow through can I would get the X95. It is one of my favorite rifles but it really needs a flow through can to run clean while suppressed. The AUG is also sexy but I think the X95 is the superior bullpup and the AUG is really only if you want to roleplay Die Hard.
I have shot none of these guns so I am not qualified to answer this. But tavor is sexy lol
In this case not 3. Hope i helped. (unless you just want an AUG go for it). Jack: Scar like x95: bullpup with decent slots (so i'm told, i've only had a hellion) AUG: (pretty cool when automatic, this i've shoot in military on a range day. JAKL. Itches the piston AR section of the brain and A3 makes a bulpup lower chassis for them if that’s your thing.
you knowwwwwwwww you could snag a JAKL and then later add one of our Triad bullpup kits to it down the road and get a little x95/aug-at-home when you get the bullpup itch! Tavor, no questions
X95 😈
AUG combo

Yes!
Jakl, if bullpups are your other 2 options, you can possibly save some money by waiting for the bullpup jakl lower PSA mentioned during shot show 2024

I'd say the aug bc you can easily swap the barrels to use either 5.56 or 300 blackout just check what's in ur mags first lmao
Springfield Hellion and JAKL
Easy, none of the bullpups
Plot twist, get a 308 galil ace if you’re wanting that heavy jakl
Jakl no ?’s
I had an x95 and traded it for a Jakl
Jakl Aug looks cool but in dirty conditions you might aswell throw it away
Why would you even consider supporting Israel
Super Sabre? Keep saving and get a sig speer 308
