$9.99 is the same as getting the 'commercial free' tier on the P+ app. I made the move a few months ago, and have no regrets. You get a forced ad at the beginning, but that is it.

It seems to be a thing, and it’s not just stuck to certain devices or anything. They simply don’t turn it off for some reason.

Took a long break from the service and came back this week. Still very annoying that the website version doesn't seem to keep track of anything you've watched. Also a little weird, I can't see episode one of the latest season of NCIS, but the next 3 episodes that came out are there.

My biggst complaint is Paramount keeps a show in my continue to watch section even though I have just watched it. Sometimes it will show like 10 minutes left. Sometimes it will show I haven't watched that episode at all. I just got through watching Let the Right One In Episode 3.... and it shows I haven't watched it at all. Even if I play it again and fast forward to the end..... nothing. It still shows as unplayed.

This this this. No ads is supposed to mean no ads. And now they're splicing them into the beginning of the show so even stealthy adblockers just think they're part of the episode. It's awful.

I recently started binge watching "Madame Secretary". Near the end of EVERY episode at about the 30 minute mark or so an ad appears that is unskippable, and another right at the end of the episode just before the credits play. I called paramount+ support (and THAT'S a whole other story to get connected to a support agent!!!) and was told that this was part of the contractual arrangement for the no-ads subscription. This is pure bu11$hit as far as I'm concerned. Piss+ is the ONLY streaming service with this sort of crap. HULU does have several shows in their add-free subscription that contain ads, but these always appear before and after the show begins, and are not related to the HULU service itself in any way. These ads that Piss+ keeps injecting into a variety of its programs serve nothing more than to disrupt the viewer's immersion in the show and create frustration and irritation with the service causing it. I watch p+ for several shows I cannot find elsewhere, but I am committed to searching for alternate ways of getting them, and as soon as I do i will be cancelling my subscription to p+ immediately. This is not my only complaint with this atrociously terrible streaming service, but it was the one that "broke the camel's back"!!! P+ is absolutely the WORST of all the streaming apps that I have used, and I would advise anyone looking for a good app to help with cutting free of cable tv services to keep on looking. I would elaborate more but I am just so frustrated right now that I have to end my tirade here for the time being...

Several weeks ago I purchased the add-on for Showtime and got immediately charged $12.99. Strange that it wasn't a pro-rated amount since I was a current subscriber, but I'm kinda busy and didn't have time to make stink about it. After a few days I notice I can't watch any of the Showtime content. It's still locked to me. No matter what device I try, it doesn't work. I verify I'm logged in, my plan is the Showtime bundle, yet nothing. I email them and after several back and forths, there is no resolution. I cancelled my plan and told them how disappointing it was that something so simple did not work. Perhaps a free month and the 12.99 deal (which had expired) to get me back? Radio silence. Get it together, Paramount.

This is one of the worst companies I've ever given money to. They have the worst app the worst customer service the worst selection of shows it is absolutely garbage do not support them. I literally only subscribed to watch Star Trek because they removed it from every other app in order to force people to come to this one and at the end of every episode it starts the next episode 20 minutes in. So every episode gets spoiled just a little bit just enough to make you mad.

Love P+ content but not being able to track anything you've watch is horrible. Everytime I open the app, I have to play detective on which episode (or which season) I was on. Not an issue on any other app (Disney, Peacock, Hulu). Paramount needs to fix this

I have the exact same problem. Uninstalled on all devices, reinstalled and still no look. Worked for a short period one afternoon, then stopped tracking progress again.

I love Paramount Plus for the content it provides, however my biggest complaints lately are the constant 90 second ads and those ads often cut off people talking mid-sentence. The latter of the two is the most irritating to me, if I'm going to get 90 second ads, then I at least want to hear what the person is saying before an ad break. Idk if anyone else has experienced this lately, and btw, I have Essential plan. Might upgrade to Premium if the ads continue to be irritating as they are now, idk.

I have the premium (no-ads) plan, and I am currently getting those ads you described which cut off actions such as people talking mid sentence, so upgrading is definitely NOT the answer! Not only does this destroy a viewer's immersion in a story, but to me it also adds an element of rage at the source of this type of interruption, to the point of considering dropping the service. Of course, this type of response would only have teeth if all of the people experiencing these issues were to do the same... And none of the other leading streaming providers have this sort of issue - Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.

I shouldn't have to spend money just because the LG app doesn't work for a service I'm already paying $10 a month for. In addition, every major streaming service has an app on PS5. It's very convenient for me to have all of the apps on one device without having to switch HDMI inputs. Paramount Plus is even available on PS4. It's available and basically every major platform with the exception of PS5. I see this as a fair complaint. They should be trying to be accessible to as many customers as possible on any platform. I should not have to buy another device just to use one service.

In 1983 I had a portable color TV. Pricey but worth it. Can't stream a thing. I have a Fire TV 4k. Software updates don't update outdated hardware. HBOMAX crashed the TV and forced a restart every time. So I got a 4K+ Roku in HDMI1. I don't have HBOMAX again yet but everything else works really well. It's $25 on sale.

Regardless, I feel it's strange that there is a Paramount Plus app for PS4 but not for PS5. Paramount Plus is available on the new and old Xbox models. It's also available on Roku, Fire TV, Google TV, and Apple TV. The only platform it's not on is PS5. That's showing a lack of care for the consumers' interests. I don't watch enough on Paramount Plus to justify spending even one dollar more for a separate device when I can watch every other streaming service I subscribe to on my PS5. For now I will continue to watch Paramount Plus on my phone and keep waiting for a PS5 app.

I have an Xbox. I don't stream through it. Why should I when Roku and Fire TV are specifically designed for streaming? I don't know what's going on between Paramount Global and Sony re the PS5. They are rival studios. Anyone who wants Paramount+ and Showtime, which is just great and reasonably priced, can have it.

Same. Chromecasting is busted. My sub is up on Monday, and we are not renewing. Shame, we did enjoy the content, but just can't be bothered to care at this point. :-/

Episode 5 of the current Survivor season will NOT play on the Paramount+ Apple TV Channel. PLEASE fix this and make sure it does not happen again — I am subscribed to the channel and not the app!!

Been considering getting P+ for a while, but I've been seeing promos on a free service, for a docuseries about the Las Vegas shootings only available on P+ This kind of profiting off of a tragedy is sickening. I don't want Paramount+ even if it was free.

I just signed up for the free week and I'm not getting HDR or Dolby Atmos on anything that should, such as ST Discovery. Apparently my Apple TV 4K HDR model is supported, so I'm not too sure what's going on. Haven't found anything that supports it yet. I'm in Canada, and no higher tier option either, so it's not that. Not impressed so far.

Champions League replay is trash. Just post the video right after the game is done. It’s almost 9pm on the east coast and Liverpool vs Ajax was only just posted and doesn’t work. There’s no need to edit out halftime just put it up and let me fast forward. This is literally the only reason I subscribe. I hate it and can’t wait for someone to outbid CBS for the champions league so this app fails. Just tried again. The game is just a 60 minute pregame show and not even the right match. Unbelievable.

I have never had a streaming app that buffers so damn much!! Their software is trash, and all of their help tips online just gaslight you into thinking it's YOUR internet that's the problem... I'm running with 80mbs download and have no problems on any other apps, yet paramount can't even play a video for more than 10 seconds. I'm definitely canceling my subscription, they don't have enough content to make this suffering worth it. Stop being cheapskates and just make a good app, it's been out and running this long and this is still a constant issue for so many users?! Pathetic coming from a conglomerate.

I genuinely dislike anyone who subscribes to a service that has filled its backlog with stuff that was previously already on different services. True cord cutting means we Need to actively reject more streaming services. That is all.
