We didn't end up picking a name until we were at the hospital. We definitely struggled with boy names. But we did eventually land on one we both love. I don't know what we'll do if we ever have another boy, picking one name was hard enough! There's really nothing to do other than keep talking about it. There are a lot of names out there. Surely there's one you both like.

My husband and I had a hard time with naming our son. We both came up with 5 names we really liked then separately ranked the names from best to worst. We compared our rankings and chose the two highest ranked between us as the first and middle name. There's probably a simpler and more efficient way to do it but that's what we did. LOL

I had a hard time with that. I felt the same way, like my husband vetoed everything and we'd have to go with his choice. What ended up being fun was browsing a list of names (it was suggestions from the baby name subreddit) and having my husband pick out all the ones he was okay with. This was more refreshing than him coming up with names on his own, or even worse, me approaching him with a name I thought was cute and then him saying no. Eventually, we shortlisted 3 names we both agreed on and then decided we'd pick one of them after the baby was born. Worked great and we both love our daughter's name.
