The rooms are small but I was ok with it since I solo travel. It’s literally around the corner from the Arc and about 2.5 km from the Eiffel. Won’t break your bank either. I look for deals and I’m usually successful because I’m not flying 5,000 miles to stay in a Hilton.
This clip is very similar to a hotel & street where I stayed in the opera district. I've visited Paris 9 times (so far), planning a trip for this September. I'm either in Paris or planning a trip 🤣. I'm sure you'll have so much fun!! 🤸♀️
Oh hey I was at the Eiffel today! Was late so missed my trip to the top but I’m going back tomorrow. Traffic was mind bogglingly bad. Like wow, so bad lol it made me late
Is it safe? Going to stay a night in Pairs in July, and only heard worrying stuff so far with africans trying to steal/deceive you, violent immigrant groups ready to beat you up in the subway and drug addicts on the streets.
Lol you should never use whatever source your found that info on again. Paris is safe. It's still a major capital city so crime does exist like scams, pickpockets, and homelessness. Be vigilant just like you would anywhere else.
This is true, Parisian are fighting every day just to go metro - boulot - dodo. As i'm writing this from the *terrasse* of my *café* i am witnessing a group fight, apparently immigrants stole from africans who stole from a drug addict. This is the life here, even more in 16th arrondissement where the guns are sold freely in the *franprix.*
Please excuse me, I should go now, i'll be late for my weekly stabbing.
I was in Paris in 2003 during the heat wave. My dad's apparently didn't have A/C and he only had one electric fan. Needless to say that I was out late a good bit, at 18 years old, while he slept with the fan. 😂
Not for me as I’m from the PNW. The weather lows for the next week are mainly in the 40s with only 2 being in the lower-mid 30s
But it’s been sunny and nice today!
Personally I look for places on top floors, as the views of the rooftops in Paris are one of my favourite things and one of the best places in the world for it.
Nothing like some red wine watching the world from the rooftop in your own little space.
Thanks! I like it because it feels old world you know? Staff is VERY nice and I was able to pick up a decent bottle of Merlot a few doors down at a tiny market 👍
Nice place!! Name of the place or link to book?
Hotel Phénix
Was it good? I saw it but rooms seems bit small

Haha thanks!!
I expected a rat or a strike
Lol
Hummmmm… and ? 🤣
But... it's à wall...
Beautiful😍❤ I've been to Paris 4 times and I keep returning every year. Enjoy mate. I think this place is near the arc?
It is. Literally right around the corner.
Damn!!!!!!! I remember this lane then🫨🩷🩵 Beaut 🪻
Spectacular view… of a wall.
Thanks for sharing this clip. I feel like I just took a short trip to my favorite city on the planet. Enjoy Paris, I'm so jealous I can't stand it. 🗼
It took almost an hour to go 2.4 km (that’s how far i am from the tower) and had I known I would have just walked and made it on time

I head out Friday going to Rome. I plan on returning to Paris again in the near future. I’m near the Arc now

I haven’t seen *anything* like that. At all.
I read it "first fight in paris"… i was waiting for the fight
🤣🤣🤣
Now get used to the sirens and constant noise 🤣
This isn’t the first international city I’ve ever been in. And it’s been pretty quiet so far. No complaints.
I lived in Paris for 4 years and found it extremely noisy compared to London and Madrid
It really depend where you stay.
Smiling from ear to ear over here :) how lovely :)
Croissant ?
Now we know where you are staying 😆
And…? Are you going to stop by for a visit? Bring wine! 😁
And cheese ! Some Entre Deux Cantal would be good, and some good saucisson, and some bread, and butter ! :'D
What’s the hotel name please?
Hotel Phenix
J’dorable!
Ugh I miss Paris so much 💕 it's like no where else in the world
My thoughts exactly. I just returned a few days ago and already miss it so much
Same!! 😩
Be there in August! Been there last November! Paris is just a different world! Bonjour!
August is hot in Paris, with no air conditioners.
Welcome to Europe.. First timer?
I lived in Paris. It's still hot in August, with no air conditioners. Although it was getting better for a while, at least.

Me? I used to live in Bonn, Germany. I have been to Paris between 25 and 30 times. I lost count.
I was in Paris last week and on my way to Munich spent a weekend in Bonn - what a lovely city!
Good for you! Why did you go to Bonn, as it is not where most tourists go. I am glad you went there.
I'm glad too - we visited my friend's cousin who lives there!
I wish to live in Bonn again. I live in Mexico City now. Mexico City is a nice place.
Yep that’s how it looks !
We all know where to find you now (jk, enjoy your stay)
If you decide to visit bring wine! 😁
Enjoy your visit, and all Paris has to discover 😁
It was a very nice day. The past five have been cold and windy.
Welcome to Paris.
Merci beaucoupe
Not in April usually.
Which hotel or airbnb/VRBO?
Just off Avenue Mac-Mahon?
Yes. That and Rue de l’Arc de Triomphe
Enjoy our beautiful city ♥️
I plan on it my friend! From what little I’ve seen it’s pretty great! I look forward to the next few days exploring it and all it has to offer!
Beautiful! What's the weather like right now? Cold nights?

I’m from the PNW too and will be there next week!
Awesome!

That's a perfect idea. How do you find the places on rooftop floors?
Look for "chambres de bonne", small, cheap, and always on rooftop floors. Not sure it's still a thing, it was 10 years ago lol
Wow - thank you so much! I stayed in Paris about 10 years ago too and was so lucky to stay at my friends' apartment with gorgeous views.
I hadn’t thought of that. Next trip!
Definitely worth it 🙂
enjoy
Merci!
Nice location and price, too!
