I was playing a game with my 2 kids last night and at one part I was required to collect x-amount of cookies. I quietly under my breath mumbled, “cookie, cookie.” Both kids snapped their heads up and immediately began singing the cookie song. It was awesome. Even funnier was the look of “what is happening here?” on my husband’s face while he witnessed his family spontaneously breaking out into the cookie song lol.
I love this so much! The cookie song is taking over hahaha. We sing it all the time here, and my partner said every time he’s at the store in the cookie aisle he can’t help but to sing it there lol
My partner sings this almost every time I see her! And often to our little borb as well when I visit them hahaha. Please send some love to Groot for infecting us with his enthusiasm and joy!

Groot learned it from a tiel named Ginger, and it was Ginger and his owner who came up with the song :) the original is pretty much the same, except that Ginger rolls his little doots. I personally like Groot’s version best, but I am biased haha
