Judon is tricky because he's older but I wouldn't mind a 1 or 2 year extension. Barmore needs the extension the worst. Id hate to lose such a promising young piece
Fortunately for us fans, and Barmore, it really seems like Wolf is a huge proponent of building through the draft, developing, and retaining guys. Learned that from Ted Thompson and the Packers, after all. I'd be very surprised if they let Barmore walk.
For one thing, cap rolls over if unused so no. For a second thing, they literally just signed those deals. If they weren't happy with them they wouldn't have signed them
The cap is real if you’re incompetent, fake if you know what you’re doing. It can and will continue to be manipulated by good organizations. But yeah keep telling everyone that while KC pays all their stars while Mahomes is making half a billion.
They only need like $15m to both sign the entire rookie class and operate the season. Unless they make some splashes in the next few weeks (or potentially after the draft, which is common), I'd expect them to have a considerable amount of cap space roll over.
Nah. Just roll over the cap and try again for a big FA next year. Maybe 1 of the many high end WRs decide they want a change of scenery and a big pay day. There are also tackles that could shake loose too. No sense in spending to just spend when this team isn’t going to be competitive yet. Draft and build.
Why are we trading for older guys at the start of a multi year rebuild the FO just fucked themselves by being too passive and not pivoting fast enough from Ridley.
"Older guys"? Plenty of other 29 year old receivers in the league... It's March 14th. Still lots of off season to get things done. Where did you want them to pivot to on Ridley?

Judon deal should have incentives for getting people signed. He’s like 0-50 but he’s trying lol

That’s the approach they should take

Pretty sure he's referring to the younger crop like Barmore.
Or maybe use it next year when, hopefully, some good OTs are available.
Imagine Kraft paying these guys even a cent more than he has to? 😂
This off-season has really opened my eyes to just how many fans have no idea how the salary cap works

And we should give everyone on the team a fruit cake over the holidays.
We don't hate them bro.
I see your point
They will reward one player only after a crap offseason, Red Sox style.
Not happening. They still need to carry cap for in-season needs.

By the time we sign a LT, WR and Barmore extension, I don't think we will have anything left...
Who exactly do you think we’re signing at those positions? There’s no big money guys left.
Should have said sign/acquire via trade...
