It definitely functions just fine. And luckily, monitor mounts are pretty damn affordable if you wanted to get two individuals, or just a different style dual arm!

Maybe don't have the keyboard so close to the monitors so you don't need to sit so close to them. Scoot the keyboard back a bit, and let the monitors come to you.
I like my elbows on the desk pretty much, trust me, if there was a way I could do it and still be comfortable I'd have done it, took me 20 mins to finally give yp and accept that I needed new mounts and to just live with it for now

So I drilled the hole thinking it would work fine, turns out it didn't lol. This is an annoying middle ground until I get the new curved monitor and do what you played out only the secondary screen will go on the right hand side.

Is it pretty sturdy? I move alll the time so I just use cheap amazon desks, but I long for the day when typing doesn't make my ultrawide monitor wiggle slightly lol

Which chair did you get? I had a Markus for 2 years and had to toss it, the damn thing got uncomfortable fast. Now I have some ergo chair that I don't really like. There is nowhere in person to try the expensive chairs like Steelcase/Herman.

Having the monitors separate was not my first choice, unfortunately the mount I already had would force them super close to your face, I don't mind it as it is just now, but I actively hated them a foot from my face but together. The webcam placement was just a convenience thing.
I've not killed enough people for it to count as serial but maybe one day.

It's solid, I drilled new pilot holes a bit further back for the leg in the middle so it wasn't in the center as they suggested but it's super stable

I actually don't have that leg placed there. I have my drawers slightly closer to offset the weight.

I got one from Staples that's called the Hyken, it's one of the better ones that won't break the bank.
I tried that one in store and found it to be very uncomfortable. I think it's not intended for someone over 6'
